    Finance Manager

    Job Overview

    • The Finance Manager who will be responsible for the Finance & Accounting, Internal Control and Investor Management as well as maintaining good Accounting systems and structures in the Organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop annual plans and budgets for the Finance department to support the achievement of the corporate strategy.
    • Update and implement financial and accounting policies, procedures, and strategies across the organization.
    • Manage software accounting system and ensures the business runs smoothly and profitably.
    • Prepare monthly financials as well as monthly management reports for senior management.
    • Compute the Return on Investments as well as Regular Fund Statements to Investors.
    • Maintain accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data is available for business operations and planning.
    • Ensures effective management of the organization’s financial resources, and compliance with annual budgets.
    • Manage relationships with relevant external bodies/contacts e.g. regulatory organizations, external auditors, solicitors, banks etc.
    • Ensure prompt administration of monthly payrolls, staff allowances and benefits, tax remittance, payment of insurance premiums and other statutory fees.
    • Represents the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.
    • Provide periodic report to Audit Committee on Audit Plan and on Internal Audit assignments investigations.
    • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, and prompt reconciliation of all accounts.
    • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and implementation of annual internal audit plans /programs and endure adherence to plans.

    Qualifications
    A suitable candidate must:

    • Have B.Sc. in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant
    • Have minimum of 8years accounting/finance experience with at least 3 years on managerial level
      • Must have worked or currently working for a Manufacturing Company
    • Have a good knowledge of SAGE
    • Have excellent knowledge of best practice finance policies and procedures
    • Have excellent knowledge of accounting systems/software and practices
    • Be proficient in the use of relevant computer applications for financial reporting
    • Be vast in investment planning and portfolio management
    • Have strong project management skills
    • Have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Have excellent presentation and communications skills

    Internal Auditor

    Job Summary

    • The Internal Auditor will be responsible for adding value and improving the company’s operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance or other related field
    • 5-8years work experience with background in FMCG
    • Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICAN, ICMA, etc.)
    • Proficiency with auditing software

    Financial Accountant

    Job Description

    • We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for the company.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, inventory, coordination and execution of account reconciliations to ensure excellence delivery in financial control.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
    • Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
    • Complies with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.
    • Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
    • Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
    • Tax administration covering rendition of returns to tax offices in resolving issues related to tax computational objections and queries
    • Ensure the company's cash management and banking activities are efficiently carried out.
    • Manage the company's accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc/HND in Accounting or Finance
    • Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICAN, ICMA, etc.) will be additional advantage.
    • 4-7 years Accounting experience with background in FMCG.

    Job Summary

    • The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving company’s sales, by building productive and professional relationship with existing and prospective customers in the markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Meeting the territory's sales & collection targets
    • Breaking down zone targets into customer targets at the start of the month
    • Ensuring that customers pay as per pay term, hence, track payments on customer visits
