    Experienced Audit Associate

    About this Position

    • We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate – Audit & Assurance to lead and manage audit engagements across a range of industries.
    • This role involves working closely with junior team members and clients to ensure audit quality, regulatory compliance, and the accurate presentation of financial statements.
    • As a senior associate, you will play a key role in planning and executing audits in line with IFRS, ISA, and Forvis Mazars’ audit methodology, while also supporting team development and client relationship management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, execute, and finalize audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes.
    • Lead audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
    • Review audit documentation and financial statements for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
    • Supervise, mentor, and coach junior auditors, providing on-the-job training and feedback.
    • Identify, assess, and respond to audit risks; recommend practical improvements to client processes.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely, solutions-oriented support.
    • Collaborate with tax, advisory, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive client service.
    • Present audit findings clearly to senior management and clients; assist in preparing audit reports.
    • Stay current with industry regulations, accounting standards, and professional best practices.
    • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for added-value services.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (in progress or completed).
    • Minimum 3–5 years of audit experience in a professional services environment.
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
