    Supervisor - Management Accounts (Inventory and Stock Control)

    About the job

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supervise all activities of the Stock Control Unit:

    • Stock GL/sub-ledger reconciliation
    • Monitor all Daily stock reconciliation, troubleshoot variances for
    • Supervise all activities and ensure adherence to timeline on all Inventory deliverables.
    • Processing of claims for stock losses/damages
    • Monitoring of stock in special locations (Claims. Transit, Anomaly)
    • Monthly (Lagos) and quarterly (Upcountry) stock taking exercise
    • Ad-hoc discrepancy anomaly report investigation and monitoring of all processed stock adjustments.
    • Faulty and expiring stock management
    • Stock provisions
    • Destruction of obsolete stock
    • Monitor all inventory control processes and documentation

    Animal milk & ISO-CON operation

    • Implementation and review of stock and waste management policy
    • Reconcile stock balances and provisions with MGT accounts
    • Monitor all Inventory control processes and ensure proper documentation.
    • Ownership and reconciliation of purchase accrual accounts (Excluding TMC)
    • Management and reconciliation of Goods In Transit (PORT location)
    • Investigation, follow up and resolution of purchase order related issues
    • Posting of purchase accrual adjustments

    4. Analysis of Non-Standard cost of sale accounts

    • BOM analysis
    • Variance investigation and analysis by SKU
    • FIFO cost Tracking, investigation and analyzing of Material Unit cost
    • Cost of sale data support for naked margin analysis
    • Preparation and Presentation of Month End Non-Standard Cost of Sales report
    • Adjustment analysis and establishment of communication line for process improvement.

    5. Business Partnership

    • Provide data analysis and support for Logistics & Production
    • Monthly inventory flash Reporting
    • Monthly Non-Standard cost of sales flash
    • Group insurance analysis support
    • Ad-hoc analysis

    INTERNAL JOB SCOPE

    • Liaise with Financial Accounts to ensure that correct, accurate and complete postings are made on Hansa
    • Relate with all departments to ensure that accurate stock position is maintained on Hansa

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
    • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a structured organization.

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • Ability to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications with strong affinity for Data Analysis
    • Good Presentation Skills together with an ability to keep facts simple.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Daily Posting of IOU Collected and Retired into Respective Staff Account
    • Reconciliation of Staff IOU Account
    • Daily Posting of Cash Expense Vouchers
    • Reconciliation of cashiers’ clearance account
    • Posting of Cheque Expense Vouchers
    • Raising Journal Vouchers for irregular transactions & correction of entries etc
    • Posting Approved Journal Entries into the ledger
    • Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department
    • Carries out any other assigned jobs by supervisor

    EDUCATION

    HND/B.Sc or its Equivalent in Management Sciences

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum One year of working experience in a similar role.

    Silage Harvester

    About the job

    OBJECTIVE

    Operate and maintain the silage harvester at any time as required, including repairs

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate the silage harvester to its optimum performance with care and responsibility
    • Take care of all maintenance and repair of the harvester
    • Keep the harvester clean and presentable at all times
    • Keep all records of repair and maintenance of the harvester
    • Not allow anyone else to operate the harvester except with explicit approval of the FM
    • Ensure that the silage quality output of the harvester is at its optimum
    • Ensure efficient and effective operation of the harvester is guaranteed at all times
    • Ensure that the attachments to the harvester are always maintained in working order
    • Complete ongoing training on operational and maintenance aspects of the harvester
    • Complete the changeover from maize to grass silage of the harvester
    • Work all hours required during harvest including being rostered for shift work
    • Maximize quality and quantity of silage crop output and utilization

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Very good command in the English language, written and spoken
    • Sufficient experience in operating large sophisticated modern machinery
    • Sufficient R&M skills, knowledge and experience in maintaining the harvester

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • Sufficient experience in operating large modern equipment similar to the harvester
    • Ample knowledge and experience in the R&M of similar large equipment and machinery
