    Industrial Nurse

    Job Description

    • The Industrial Nurse will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and wellbeing of employees within the manufacturing facility. The role involves providing first aid and emergency medical care, managing workplace health programs, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and supporting the company’s health policies and wellness initiatives.
    • The ideal candidate will have solid experience in occupational health nursing, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide prompt medical attention and first aid treatment to employees in case of illness, accidents, or injuries at work.
    • Maintain accurate medical and incident records in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
    • Conduct routine health checks, wellness screenings, and periodic medical examinations for employees.
    • Support health surveillance programs, including monitoring of occupational hazards such as noise, fumes, or chemicals.
    • Educate staff on preventive health measures, hygiene, and workplace safety practices.
    • Administer prescribed medications and maintain adequate stock of first aid supplies and medical equipment.
    • Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department on workplace health risk assessments and preventive measures.
    • Manage medical referrals and coordinate with hospitals or clinics for advanced treatment where necessary.
    • Participate in employee wellness programs and initiatives to promote a healthy workforce.
    • Prepare periodic reports on medical cases, absenteeism, and occupational health trends.
    • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee medical information.

    Job Requirements

    Education & Qualifications:

    • Registered Nurse (RN)  qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, or Occupational Health.
    • Current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
    • Certification or training in Occupational Health Nursing, First Aid, or HSE is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3–7 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
    • Experience in emergency response, occupational health, or safety program support preferred.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent clinical and first aid skills.
    • Knowledge of occupational health standards and workplace health regulations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally.
    • Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic health information systems.
    • Compassionate, confidential, and ethical in practice.

    Internal Audit Officer

    Job Description

    • The Internal Audit Officer will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. The role involves conducting audits of financial, operational, and compliance activities to ensure efficiency, integrity, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, execute, and report on internal audit assignments.
    • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
    • Review financial records, operational processes, and compliance with policies/procedures.
    • Identify gaps, weaknesses, or potential risks in systems and make recommendations.
    • Prepare accurate, clear, and concise audit reports for management.
    • Monitor follow-up actions on audit recommendations.
    • Support external auditors by providing required documentation.
    • Conduct investigations on fraud, irregularities, or mismanagement when required.

    Job Requirements

    Education & Qualifications:

    • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIA is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • 2–4 years proven experience in auditing, internal control, or compliance.
    • Hands-on experience in using accounting/audit software.
    • Knowledge of auditing standards and risk management practices.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of internal control systems and audit methodology.
    • Good communication and report writing skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
