    Senior Medical Officer

    Job Summary

    • ACG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Medical Officer with management experience to lead and manage our clinical services in a clinic, ensuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery while meeting business and financial targets.
    • The ideal candidate will be both clinically sound and business-minded, with proven expertise in healthcare management, quality improvement, and financial stewardship.
    • As the Senior MO you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of the clinic’s services, ensuring excellent patient care, clinical governance, and service development in alignment with our mission and vision.
    • This role is for a leader who thrives in a high-performance healthcare environment and is passionate about driving results while maintaining top-quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Service Development: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive service development plan, including:

    • Service Plan
    • Structure Plan
    • Action Plan
    • Results Tracking
    • Stakeholder Engagement Development and Maintenance: Staff, Physician, Partners, HMO stakeholder development and management.
    • Patient Care: Plan and oversee all patient care alongside patient care coordinators.
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with clinical SOPs to maintain high standards of care across all departments.
    • Quality Management: Oversee and improve quality management systems, ensuring clinical outcomes align with best practices and patient safety standards.
    • Financial Targets: Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve financial targets for the clinics, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
    • Patient Experience: Drive exceptional patient care and ensure a high level of satisfaction, aiming for a minimum of 4 out of 5 stars in patient feedback.
    • Revenue Growth: Develop revenue targets for each department and implement strategies to meet or exceed those goals.
    • Quality Accreditation: Lead the organisation’s journey towards its first quality accreditation, ensuring that the clinic meets the required standards.
    • Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and guide clinical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and excellence.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Medical Degree
    • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, preferably as a Clinical Director or Head of Department.
    • Demonstrated expertise in service development quality management, and achieving financial targets in a healthcare environment.
    • Strong understanding of clinical governance, corporate governance and SOP development
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
    • Experience in leading healthcare organisations through quality accreditation processes.
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop strategies that balance clinical excellence with financial sustainability.:

    HMO Billing Officer

    Job Description

    • Explain benefits, eligibility status, enrolment processing procedures and status of authorizations and referrals to patients/clients
    • HMO and retainership management, processes and procedures
    • Collation of HMO and retainership bills
    • Correction of errors found in bills
    • Reconciliation of HMO and retainership account
    • Ensure daily sales are reconciled with the system for proper accounting and audit- Ensure proper invoicing

    Requirements

    • Must have at least one year work experience in HMO & Billing in a healthcare facility- Must have experience with dealing with all stakeholders involved in HMO activities
    • Must possess in-depth knowledge of HMO Business as well as account reconciliation and other related accounting tasks

    Skills

    •  Ability to work with little or no supervision- Must have a good grasp of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, etc)
    • Must reside between Lagos Island and Lakowe or within proximity of Lekki Phase I
    • Must have a good command of written and spoken English- Must be smart, good looking, time-conscious and possesses good interpersonal relationship- Must be a good manager of time, resources, people and situations
    • Must know how to use EMR/EHR e.g. Helium Healt
