Job Description

• Reporting to the Project Manager and the Management Team, this job role involves overseeing all building project, supervising the construction stage of a new project, ordering construction materials, delegating tasks to a construction team and collaborating with subcontractors, working at the construction site, where they manage a team and check for quality and safety during the building process, plan, coordinate and manage every aspect of a building project from takeoff to delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Quality check activities of all stages of the projects.
• Overseeing and directing construction projects from startup to completion
• Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• First Degree in Building Technology (B.Tech) or any related field from a reputable institution
• At least 7 years post qualification experience in Building project management.
• Membership of Professional Body (COBON) is a MUST
• Industry Knowledge, Flexible Planning, Effective Communication, Organization, Risk Management, Negotiation, Financial Management, Micromanagement Avoidance Proven working experience in construction management Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Leadership and people management skills
• Previous experience with a top flight Construction Company.
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Advanced Knowledge of computer skills with proficiency with Design tools.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers, contractors and staff in order to achieve project goals.

Desirable:

• Postgraduate academic qualifications: such as Masters in Building Technology from a top-flight school.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture” Strong conflict and crisis management skills. Familiarity with construction management software packages
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Experience in construction of High-Rise Building will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Reporting to the Project Manager and the Management Team, this role involves designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electrical systems that transmit and generate power, read and study the electrical plans (usually done by electrical design engineers), implement them on the site, and do necessary actions to correct or improve the design.
• Coordinate with other electrical engineers to implement the electrical system design and with other engineers from different fields, such as civil and mechanical engineers, to make the construction job more manageable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that installations and applications are in line with specifications and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
• Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
• Summarize data and report on test results
• Monitor maintenance and inspection plans
• Detail engineering with a safety factor in the design
• Basic & detailed engineering for the provision of earthling pits of electrical installation.
• Design electrical systems for illumination of different areas and lux calculations.
• Cable size calculation cable scheduling and its route selection, overhead or underground
• Proper protection system for all electrical installation.
• Design for fire alarm & detection system and more
• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical-related works at the site.
• Develop cost estimates, prepare and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works before execution.
• Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project Manager for approval before execution at site.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications before executing any jobs.
• Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met daily for all electrical groups at the site.
• Submits daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates, and all relevant monitoring reports regularly or as required.
• Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical groups at the site.
• Ensures that all the works are done following the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and applicable local, national, or international standards.
• To co-ordinate with Electrical Contractor for Electrification, Execution, Erection & Commissioning.
• Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control carried out on completed and running Project activities.
• Coordination with workers
• Manpower Controlling and Solve the Problems.
• Final Documentation & Billing Works
• Ensure the power supply available. Save energy by disconnecting unwanted loads.
• Ensure all electrical machines should be earthed
• Directing electrical contractors on all task assigned
• Managing Construction Schedules
• Conduct Of System Testing
