    Audit Officer

    JOB PURPOSE: 

    • Objectively assess the company\'s it and/or business processes
    • Assess the company\'s risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts.
    • Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statutes

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Income assurance.

    • Operating expense review.
    • Statutory deduction review- Paye, Pension, and NHF.
    • Investment placement review.
    • General ledger review.
    • Receipt of goods - invoice verification and vouching.
    • Regulatory and internal compliance review.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • B.Sc. in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, etc.

    SKILLS NECESSARY FOR THE JOB FUNCTION:

    Head, Enterprise Risk Management

    JOB PURPOSE: 

    • Establish, implement, and enforce a robust enterprise-wide risk management framework.
    • Assess the company\'s risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts.
    • Ensure that the Bank is complying with relevant laws and statutes
    • Develop policies, processes, and tools to manage financial and non-financial risks while ensuring the bank\'s operations are conducted within acceptable risk parameters.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee and enforce risk management policies, including Credit Manual, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Manual and Policy, and monitor compliance with policies. Provide an independent review of proposed business plans, which include risks identified to the Board Risk Committee and Executive Committee
    • Manage a comprehensive AML Compliance program for the company in line with local regulations and internal policy requirements; report regularly to Board Audit Committee on AML
    • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework, including policies, processes, and tools for managing various types of risks (e.g., strategic, operational, market, liquidity, credit, and compliance risks).
    • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the bank\'s operations. Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests to evaluate the bank\'s risk exposure.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Monitor and report on compliance with risk management policies.
    • Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and the Board. Provide insights and recommendations based on risk assessments.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture within the bank
    • Oversee the investigation and resolution of risk incidents. Implement corrective actions to mitigate future risks.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management. Provide guidance and support to business units on risk-related matters.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. 
    • Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or MBA, ACA, ACCA are preferred.

    Internal Control Officer

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • Investigation and reporting of Internal Control breaches, fraud and other related compliance issues
    • Policy reviews

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • BSC Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or any related field.
