    Internal Auditor

    GIGM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Internal Auditor to work in the internal audit function of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive audits across various departments, ensuring the effectiveness of financial controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigation of risks. This role involves close collaboration with the team lead and management staff and direct reporting to the CEO, to provide valuable insights into risk management and operational efficiency The ideal candidate is expected to have an understanding of the Nigerian mobility space.

    Key Resposibilities

    • Develop and execute internal audit plans and programs to assess the effectiveness of internalcontrols, risk management processes, and compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and vulnerability and develop strategies to mitigate risks and strengthen controls.
    • Perform internal audits of business operations, processes, and functions to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Review financial statements, accounting records, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Analyze data, trends, and patterns to identify irregularities, discrepancies, and potential fraud ormisconduct, and make recommendations for corrective action.
    • Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in audit reports, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with management to develop action plans and remediation measures to address auditfindings and improve internal controls and processes.
    • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and effectiveness.
    • Provide advisory and consulting services to management on internal control best practices, risk management strategies, and process improvements.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in internal audit, risk management, and corporate governance.
    • Collaborates with the head of the department to ensure external audits and other statutory/regulatory returns are met.

    Desired Competencies

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
    • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and control testing procedures.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and auditing techniques.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in work.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and audit software tools.
    • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
    • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing priorities and business needs.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute audit engagements within established timelines and budgets.
    • Customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering responsive and reliable support to internal stakeholders.
    • Continuous learning mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal audit and risk management.

    Qualifification & Skills

    • 5-8years of audit accounting experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, ICAN, ACCA) preferred.
    • Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or related field, preferably in the mobility industry.
    • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., COSO, SOX, IIA standards).
    • Proficiency in utilizing computer applications and software e.g, Sage pastel evolution and Microsoft applications, etc.

    Inventory Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
    • Inspect the levels of business supplies and materials to identify shortages
    • Ensure stock is adequate for all distribution request and can cover direct demand
    • Record all deliveries to reconcile inventory
    • Use Technology to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
    • Place orders to replenish stock to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus
    • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
    • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
    • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure business goals are met.
    • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
    • Including other duties that may be assigned by supervisor

    Job Requirement:

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or HND in any relevant discipline.
    • Minimum of two (2) years cognate experience in Inventory Management.

    Experience Center Agent

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    The Experience Center Agent role is a customer facing role targeted at smart, personable, technology inclined and customer-obsessed individuals.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Provide guidance to walk-in customers on product and service offerings
    • Educate customers and potential customers with information on SLA and delivery timelines.
    • Ensures strict adherence to GIGL’s Standard Operating Procedure in the sending, safe-keeping, receiving, and releasing of parcels.
    • Serve guests by providing product/ service information related to delivery life cycle, rates and payment.
    • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer\'s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
    • Promote and cross-sell company’s products

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Good communication and computer literacy skills
    • Certificate of completion of NYSC
    • Previous customer service experience is an added advantage
    • Detail-oriented and strong inter-personal skills
