    Job Responsibilities

    Inventory Manager

    Job Responsibilities;

    • Ensure new shipments are received in good condition as per shipment invoice/packing list.
    • Ensure product reference number, SKU, color, size, categories, descriptions, season, and other relevant information are well captured into the excel upload template, which Inventory Manager must have vetted aligned with shipment invoice before uploading on Vend.
    • Ensures inventory items physically received corresponds with products as stated on the accompanying AWB and suppliers’ invoice/packing list.
    • Ensures shipment received from clearing agents are in good packaging condition before unpacking, otherwise the internal control & audit unit and the inventory supervisor and/or inventory manager should be notified immediately for physical verification of actual quantities received.
    • Ensure proper distribution of products are carried out as per ED’s directives using the approved distribution list usually communicated via email.
    • Participate in periodic stock counts on Monthly/Quarterly basis.
    • Ensure clear labelling and tagging of shelves in store/warehouse for proper identification of products for ease of retrieval.
    • Check all shipment documentation and clearing agents’ invoices received for conformity before passing to the Inventory supervisor for review before sign-off by inventory manager and further payment processing.
    • Confirms the accuracy of the inventory items received upon shipment delivery comparing the actual quantities received with the expected quantities as contained in the suppliers’ invoice relaying the information to the Inventory supervisor and/or inventory manager.
    • Ensures samples of newly received brands are made available to the boutiques after the capturing of the reference numbers, SKU and other key product information.

    Other responsibilities assigned by the Inventory supervisor, inventory manager, Finance Controller and/or Executive Director.

    Job Requirements

    • BSC in business administration, accounting, related to inventory management.
    • 10 years of experience in retail, warehousing.
    • Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as NetSuite, Fishbowl.
    • Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
    • Able to take proper decision and action whenever any difficult situation arises.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Good analytical and logical thinking abilities.
    • Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
