    Admin Assistant

    Job Description

    The Admin Assistant shall support all administrative, human resources, procurement activities, his/her support will include but not limited to the provision of all administrative support required for the project, ensuring that appropriate control reporting structures are maintained in accordance with ECEWS and donor rules and regulations at the field office.

    H/she will coordinate and act as focal point for issues relating to administrative matters and HR related matters (Collating Ad-hoc staff timesheets, facilitating payment of Facilities Operational Costs) at the State office, One Stop Shops and any other duties assigned.

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • University Degree in any field. (BSc. BA. HND or its equivalent)
    • 2 – 3 years’ relevant Experience with administrative and secretarial tasks
    • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred.
    • Proven experience in transferring knowledge into operational plan with client’s collaboration and sustainable buy- in.
    • Experience with large complex organization preferred.
    • Well-developed computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
    • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills
    • Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, and recipients of assistance.
    • Substantial experience using computerized information systems – MS Office packages, etc.
    • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
    • Familiarity with Donor-funded programs and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria.

    Procurement Manager

    Job Description

    The Procurement Manager will develop, plan, and manage policies and strategies related to procuring supplies and services (in accordance with ECEWS & Global Fund policies) in support of all ECEWS offices and projects at HQ and State Offices, both domestic and international sourcing.

    S/he will participate in the negotiation of contract terms on a range of procurements and monitor delivery of exact specifications.

    With the Senior Procurement Officer, s/he will develop policies and systems for ECEWS procurement at HQ and State office level, identifying what is procured locally & nationally.

    The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and manage the central procurement activities of ECEWS with HQ and State Offices, including storage and delivery, train staff at the HQ & state level in procurement rules and processes and record keeping, monitor procurement processes and compliance with ECEWS procedures at HQ and field levels.

    The Procurement Manager will implement sourcing strategies to support corporate and state objectives, providing ECEWS with a competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies, and services.

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • BS/BA degree in relevant field with 3 – 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
    • Master’s or certification in procurement/Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in procurement.
    • Experience in sourcing medical devices and equipment
    • Good knowledge of vendor management process
    • Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
    • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
    • Management and leadership skills; ability to lead a team.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations is required.
    • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage.
