Job Summary
Coordinate development and implementation of policy and procurement strategies for spends across the organization in accordance with agreed annual performance targets. Manage technical inventory management activities of the company

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic supplier/contractor performance evaluation for quality improvement and provide/discuss outcome with suppliers
• Manage regulatory compliance procedures related to procurement
• Develop, improve and implement procurement policies, processes and strategies, ensuring plans are aligned with organizational objectives
• Develop or improve on procedures to maintain the efficiency of our sourcing operations
• Identify, negotiate and realize cost saving initiative that deliver value in the procurement of goods and service
• Work with the legal team to negotiate terms of contacts and SLAs
• Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with suppliers

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or any related field
• 5+ years’ experience in procurement operations
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• In depth knowledge of Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

• Ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution.
• Package and verify content for shipping, receiving packages, ordering supplies.
• A successful shipping manager is analytical, well organized and excels in communication.
• He/She must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• The use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
• Management of all-important documents e.g. advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
• To direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
• Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders.
• Supervise and lead subordinates and control budget of the shipping department.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. or equivalent in Purchasing and Supply, Maritime Transportation or related discipline
• A proven experience as shipping manager with solid knowledge of logistics procedures.
• Experience in using Odoo and preparing shipping documents and computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) with a good understanding of budgeting and reporting.
• Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to details and must be a problem solver.

Job Description

• Prepare detailed designs / draft / layouts
• Researching whether the design will work and be cost-effective
• Assessing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a design
• Using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to create prototypes
• Collecting and analyzing data from tests on prototypes
• Modifying designs and retesting them
• Preparation of CNC program for plasma, punch and laser machines for fabrication of sheet metal.

Requirements

• BSc / BTech / HND Engineering or another related course
• Proficiency in the use of AUTOCAD for design/drafting and various Engineering Designs
• Proficiency in the use of Solid Works for designs and fabrication with basic knowledge of Autodesk inventor
• CorelDraw.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly Gross.

Job Description

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for steel production.
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field
• 2-5 years cognate experience in a steel manufacturing firm.
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
