    Field Operator Northbank

    ​​​​​​​Minimum Requirements

    • Experience in SPDC Northbank Node and CPF Operations will be added advantage.
    • OND/HND in sciences/engineering with 3 – 8year work experience as a field operator in an oil and gas facility or SSCE/WAEC with a minimum of 10 years work experience as a field operator in an oil and gas facility.
    • Minimum of 1 year: as a Front Line Maintenance/ process Area operations/ /Control Room Operator
    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS)
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and word)
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
    • Basic Knowledge of Flow Station and Gas Plant Operations
    • Basic knowledge of Process and Personal safety

    • Control Room Operator:
    • T_BOSIET certification
    • Experience in the operation of separators, compressors, pumps and other crude oil processing equipment

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The Field Operator services support will be responsible for the following:
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions
    • Serves as permit to work signatory and administer safe system of work.
    • Apply the Health Safety Security and Environment policy, legislations applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Carry out first line maintenance on pumps, motors, separators, and valves.
    • Adhere to plant operational procedures.
    • Start-up and Shutdown of Oil and Gas facilities
    • Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
    • Execute daily communication and Shift handover.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions plant isolation etc.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Collaborate with Plant operators to execute front line maintenance activities in the plant.
    • Perform proper housekeeping within the plant.
    • Serve as focal point for operational registers.
    • Maintain defective equipment register for plant.

    Work Cycle

    • The work location is North Bank Node is accessible via water and Air.
    • The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
    • There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule.
    • The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers.
    • There may be need for periodic visits to Shell industrial area for trainings and official assignments.
    • Personnel may be required to work extended hours as need may arises.

    Instrument (PACO) Engineer Support Forcados Terminal

    Academics

    • (OND/HND/Bachelors)

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 7-years working experience in an oil and gas facility working as an Instrumentation Technician.
    • Experience in Forcados Terminal will be an added advantage.

    Skills

    • Ability to troubleshoot and rectify Instrumentation faults using P&ID drawings, loop drawings and PEFS.
    • Experience in operations and maintenance of Field Instrumentation devices including but not limited to Transmitters (HART). control valves, Flow meters, differential pressure transmitters,
    • Shutdown valves, Motorized Operated Valves, and actuators (MOVs), Switches, Solenoids, loop checks.
    • Experience in Distributed Control Systems (Yokogawa Centum VP). Ability to carry out first line trouble shooting using the engineering workstation, carry out control loop tuning, alarm downloads and bad actor analysis.
    • Experience in Crude Oil Tank gauging systems, ENRAF gauges and ENTIS tank gauging system.
    • Ability to carry out loop checks and calibrate the gauges for crude oil measurements.
    • Experience in PAS and Fire & Gas protection systems.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in Yokogawa Safeguarding systems SGS maintenance.
    • Field Instrumented Pneumatic / Yokogawa Centum VP DCS systems.
    • Experience in dynamic metering recertification activities including prover loop calibration exercise, meter calibration, crude oil meter proving exercise, fiscal measurement devices maintenance, linearity checks, Autosampler grab performance test and ancillary instrument calibration exercises in line with statutory guidelines will be a great added advantage.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The Paco/Instrumentation Support will be responsible for the following:
    • Calibrations of smart transmitter (using HART communicator), pressure controllers, Safeguarding
    • System devices, Pressure control valves, relief valves, Pressure vacuum valves, Regulators.
    • Carry out calibration of flow and level switches, Digital and Pneumatic Instrumentation, Process
    • Automation and Controls Systems
    • Maintenance of AFFF fire and gas systems and Linear Heat detection (LHD) system on crude oil storage tanks
    • Operation and maintenance of field instrument devices.
    • Use of diagnostic tools such as Druck Pressure Calibrator, hand pumps, Current Loop Calibrator
    • (Unomat), Hart Communicator and other Instrumentation hand tools for testing and fault tracing in Hazardous Areas
    • Ensure periodic health checks on Human Machine Interface workstations and Servers. Systems fault diagnosis and recovery.
    • Access and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); Cause and Effects Matrix
    • (C&E); Process Flow Scheme (PFS); Functional Logic Diagram (FLD); Instrument Loop Drawings (ILD) and Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) required for fault tracing and issues resolutions.
    • Work closely with service Contractor(s) towards safe delivery of vendor-based maintenance jobs.
    • Ensure technical integrity of assets through Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities, quality assurance and performance standard verification of safety critical equipment.
    • Maintain Systems availability for the continuous operation of the facility.
    • Identifying critical spares and follow-up ordering and delivery.
    • Integrate with other disciplines to achieve Asset integrity on continuous basis.
    • Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation, and close-out.
    • Other assignments for continuous improvements (AMS process application: RCAs, MTO, MEC etc.) as exigent.

    Work Cycle

    • Successful candidate will hit the ground running working on a mix of equipment most over two decades old with less OEM support but on gradual upgrade.
    • Must be able to climb crude oil storage tanks of around 25metres in height and work on platforms around the tank.
    • The work location is Swamp/field based Delta state) accessible via Helicopter/boat.
    • The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
    • There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule.
    • The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers.
    • There may be need for periodic visits to Shell industrial area for trainings and official assignments.
    • There may be need to undertake driving of Light vehicles under company guidelines and certification in the course of day-to-day work activities.

    Field Operations Supervisor (Electrical Maintenance) – TUNU

    Academics

    • HND or B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline.

    Work Experience

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The Electrical engineer supervisor will be responsible for the following:
    • Provide planned activities reports to the Team Leader or designated client’s supervisor, perform quality control duties, identify non-compliance with HSE standards, ensure availability for intervention activities, and maintain a daily log of activities from job sites, as reported by QA/QC Engineers.
    • Maintains all HV/LV equipment, UPSs, protection relays, earthing, and lightning strike systems.

    • Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
    • Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
    • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
    • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
    • Performing general electrical maintenance.
    • Daily parameter logging, and records.
