    Technical Aftersales Manager

    Reports To: The Vice President, Learning Hardware

    Overall Function

    • We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about media, technology, education, and the African continent, to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will lead and manage the technical team towards delivering excellent after sale customer service through device repairs and components ordering.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the After Sales Service team in delivery device repairs and procurement of component parts.
    • Deliver a profitable after sales service by considering and utilizing all possible revenue streams in the market.
    • Support improvements in product quality through the interface between Consumers / Marketing / Manufacturing and Suppliers and take corrective measures to ensure consistent delivery of product quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage all After Sales Service KPIs (cost, first time fix, call turnaround time, productivity output and efficiency ratio per employee) to achieve maximum efficiency.
    • Ensure excellent customer service delivery at the Customer Care Centre at all times.
    • Ensure appropriate repair consistent with warranty requirements.
    • Ensure accurate and sufficient inventory of spare parts.
    • Source competitive bids on tools, equipment and supplies for cost efficiency.
    • Supervise the team to ensure that customer inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are promptly handled.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic).
    • Must possess strong technical experience with proven successful track record in mobile and tablet device repairs (minimum of 4 years)
    • Must possess strong leadership skills to supervise, guide and engage junior team members.
    • Must be able to display ability to ensure customer service delivery timeline within 72 hours of received order.

    Growth Manager

    Direct Report: VP, Distribution and Marketing
    Indirect Report: Chief Executive Officer

    Overall Function

    • We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about media, technology, education, and the African continent, to join our team.
    • The Growth Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of uLesson’s growth plan for customer acquisition and retention and upsell the Company’s products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that measures performance while aligning with the Company’s overall strategy and vision
    • Develop and execute creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches for market penetration and positioning in a bid to attract partners, investors and increase sales conversions.
    • Manage the Marketing & Communications budget and ensure strategy milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
    • Develop and execute strategy through integrated campaign and measuring performance;
    • Design and implement vigorous media experimentation approach for app optimization and landing page optimization to boost ROI;
    • Develop, test, reiterate, and optimize growth through acquisition, targeting, and product optimizations across channels;
    • Continuously work on new or revised ideas for experimentation to enable optimization and acquisition growth.
    • Manage media partnerships from end-to-end to drive quantifiable growth;
    • Provide in-depth progress and achievement reports
    • Support other marketing tasks assigned by VP, Distribution and Marketing.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science or any other relevant field;
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in acquisition marketing experience, preferably growing a significant mobile customer base leveraging experimentation;
    • Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience in revenue generation, budget performance, marketing concepts in the achievement of strategics goals;
    • Must have comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies
    • Brand communication to translate company vision effectively and attract partners.
    • Experience using analytical and reporting tools (i.e. Google Analytics).
    • Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Content Management
    • Proven experiences executing data-driven decisions.
    • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, online engagement and analytics.
    • Proven marketing management experience
    • Must possess Implementation oriented mindset to achieve high performance and achievement.
    • Proven experience launching promotional initiatives (i.e. online campaigns, brand ambassadors/partnerships, events, etc.);
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Must possess strong leadership skills to supervise, guide and engage junior team members.

    Regional Sales Manager

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
    Reports to: Vice President, Distribution and Marketing

    Overall Function

    • We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about media, technology, education, and the African continent, to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for building, managing and leading high performing B2B sales teams to sell uLesson in assigned region(s).
    • You will be responsible for strategy development and execution, sales team performance and overall growth of the region.

    Key Responsibilities
    Includes but not limited to the folliwing:

    • Build, lead and manage high performing sales teams;
    • Drive adoption and penetration within territories in assigned region
    • Provide customer feedback and advice to Product, Content and Marketing teams;
    • Participate in regional strategy development and lead execution to meet regional sales targets;
    • Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and reward;
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referral-based strategies;
    • Manage relationships with Educators, Parents, Learners, and Retailers in the territory defined and agreed upon by the company;
    • Develop field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs;
    • Organizing training and retraining of sales agents;
    • Present the highest level of professionalism and passion through presentations, marketing materials/events, quotes & proposals;
    • Compiling and presenting sales reports;
    • Perform other duties as may be required.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology or Engineering (achievement of First / Second Class Upper in the aforementioned courses will be highly considered)
    • Minimum of 8 years’ sales experience in the tech/software, education, insurance or FMCG industry.
    • Experiencing building and leading sales teams is non-negotiable
    • Ability to communicate in English and at least 1 local language.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to communicate with learners, parents, and other stakeholders.
    • Good understanding of computers and mobile device specifications and, operating systems
    • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
    • Excellent presentation skills in both large and small groups.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
    • Ability to work well within teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation
    Salary is competitive (N600,000 - N1,000,000 monthly).
