    General Manager, Operations

     JOB OVERVIEW

    • Lead and direct all upstream and midstream operations, with full accountability for production delivery, P&L performance, budget control, and HSSE outcomes across the asset portfolio. The role is responsible for operational strategy, asset performance, and value delivery, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while maintaining regulatory compliance and stakeholder alignment, and reports to the Group Chief Operating Officer.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own and   deliver production targets and overall operational performance across all   assets.
    • Provide   strategic leadership for field development, production operations, drilling   activities, and facilities management.
    • Lead and   enforce HSSE strategy and culture, ensuring compliance with all safety,   environmental, and regulatory standards.
    • Manage   and control operational budgets (OPEX) and capital investments (CAPEX) in   line with business objectives.
    • Drive   operational efficiency, cost optimization, and production performance   improvement initiatives.
    • Oversee   planning, execution, and performance monitoring of all operational   activities.
    • Ensure   effective integration across subsurface, drilling, production, and facilities   teams.
    • Interface   with joint venture partners, regulators, and key external stakeholders to   ensure alignment and compliance.
    • Drive   adoption and governance of digital production systems, data management, and   operational reporting frameworks.
    • Lead   asset growth initiatives, including development planning and production   enhancement strategies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum   15+ years experience in upstream oil and gas operations, including senior   operational leadership roles.
    • Proven   experience with P&L responsibility, budget management, and asset   performance delivery.
    • Demonstrated   experience managing producing oil and gas assets end-to-end.
    • Strong   technical grounding in production operations, drilling, subsurface   integration, and facilities management.
    • Proven   leadership of multidisciplinary teams in complex operational environments.
    • Strong   understanding of Nigerian upstream regulatory framework and joint venture   operations.
    • Experience   driving operational efficiency, digital systems adoption, and performance   management frameworks

    Asset Business Manager

    JOB OVERVIEW

    • Lead and drive performance across all operational and commercial areas of the asset, with full accountability for P&L, production delivery, and sustainable value creation across the asset lifecycle from development through to abandonment. The role is responsible for strategic direction, decision-making, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance, and reports directly to the Group Executive Director, Strategy.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own   and drive asset P&L performance, ensuring delivery of production, cost,   and profitability targets.
    • Provide   strategic and commercial leadership for the asset, aligning technical   execution with business objectives.
    • Oversee   the full asset lifecycle, including exploration, development, production, and   decommissioning activities.

    • Strong understanding of asset management, field development   planning, and production operations.
    • Demonstrated experience managing   asset performance   across technical, operational, and commercial dimensions.
    • Strong working knowledge of gas value chains, processing   facilities, and production evacuation systems.

    JOB OVERVIEW

    • Lead and drive all drilling and   well engineering activities across the asset, with full accountability for   well delivery, well integrity, and drilling performance across the entire   well lifecycle from planning through to completion and handover.
    • The role   provides technical authority on drilling and well operations, ensuring safe,   efficient, and cost-effective execution while maintaining CAPEX discipline   and regulatory compliance.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead   planning and execution of drilling and well operations from well design   through to completion and handover.
    • Provide   technical authority and oversight on drilling engineering standards, well   design, and execution strategies.
    • Ensure   well integrity management throughout the drilling and completion lifecycle.
    • Manage   drilling contractors, service companies, and rig operations to deliver safe   and efficient outcomes.

    Production Operations Managers

    JOB   OVERVIEW

    • Lead and manage field production   operations with full accountability for production target delivery, deferment   management, and OPEX control, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient   operations. The role is responsible for maximizing production uptime and maintaining   asset integrity across all production systems and facilities, while ensuring   regulatory compliance and operational continuity, and reports to the General   Manager, Operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own and   deliver production targets, ensuring alignment with asset performance   objectives.
    • Monitor,   manage, and minimize production deferment, ensuring accurate reporting and   timely resolution of production losses.
    • Manage   day-to-day production operations and on-site field performance.

    Senior Process & Facilities Engineer

    JOB   OVERVIEW

    • Lead process and facilities   engineering activities across production systems, with accountability for   facility performance, uptime, and reliability. The role is responsible for   design, optimization, troubleshooting, and project execution across oil and gas   facilities, ensuring effective integration with production operations while   supporting cost efficiency and CAPEX/OPEX optimization.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the   development, review, and optimization of process design documentation (PFDs,   P&IDs, heat and mass balances, hydraulic calculations).
    • Drive   facility performance and uptime improvements, ensuring efficient and reliable   operations.
    • Lead   process optimization and debottlenecking initiatives to enhance throughput   and reduce downtime.

    JOB   OVERVIEW

    QUALIFICATIONS
