Lead and manage field production operations with full accountability for production target delivery, deferment management, and OPEX control, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role is responsible for maximizing production uptime and maintaining asset integrity across all production systems and facilities, while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational continuity, and reports to the General Manager, Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and deliver production targets, ensuring alignment with asset performance objectives.
Monitor, manage, and minimize production deferment, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution of production losses.
Manage day-to-day production operations and on-site field performance.
Ensure reliability and integrity of production facilities, pipelines, and surface infrastructure.
Drive production optimization and uptime performance, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
Manage and control operating expenditure (OPEX) in line with approved budgets.
Coordinate production teams and interface with drilling, subsurface, and facilities engineering functions.
Maintain strong relationships with host communities to support uninterrupted operations.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, asset integrity standards, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10+ years experience in upstream production and field operations.
Strong expertise in production operations, asset integrity management, and surface facilities operations.
Proven experience delivering production targets and managing production deferment.
Demonstrated experience in OPEX management and cost control within field operations.
Experience working in onshore, swamp, or complex field environments.
Demonstrated capability in production optimization, uptime improvement, and incident prevention.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Relevant professional certifications or memberships (COREN, NSE) are an advantage
Advanced degree or management training is an advantage
