    Shift Miller - Kaduna

    To manage an efficient, safe site producing finished products that fulfil the requirements of our customers at least cost/maximum financial benefits.

    Key Deliverables

    • Quality and consistency of finished products.
    • Mill performance.
    • Seeking continuous operational improvement.
    • Effective management of raw material, intermediate and finished product stock levels.
    • Cost control (notably labour, energy, maintenance).
    • Site Hygiene.
    • Site Condition.
    • Health and Safety.
    • Direct management and motivation of production team.

    Responsibilities - Production Unit

    • Defining and agreeing job responsibilities with all subordinates.  Setting targets and monitoring performance (formally and informally) of all responsible personnel.
    • Maintain the welfare and morale of staff and their subordinates.
    • Enforce discipline and effect dismissals as necessary within the guidelines of the company disciplinary procedure and employment legislation.
    • Selection and appointment of new staff.
    • Ensure all areas operate efficiently within agreed financial budgets.  To seek continual improvement.
    • Control stock levels (through line managers/supervisors) of both raw materials and finished products to ensure efficient response to product specifications and volume requirements (in line with forecasts and new product development) can be made.
    • Maintain and monitor production in respect of output yield/extraction capacity against set targets.  React to variances.
    • Ensure (through line managers) efficient maintenance of all plant and buildings under remit. (This will include use of a preventative maintenance scheme to ensure minimum breakdown times on any processes.

    General Responsibilities

    • Manage external contractors in a cost effective manner for cleaning, refuse disposal, gardening and other routine services.  Seek to challenge their costs and performance to ensure cheap yet quality service.
    • Ensure perimeter and yard areas are well maintained.
    • Through managers, maintain and administer all personnel records and systems relating to employees (excluding records of sickness, absenteeism and holidays, recorded in the General Office).
    • Through respective managers, ensure the safe keeping of all company agreements, financial instruments etc.
    • To encourage good communication through the plant workplace, through Team Briefing, formal and informal discussions.
    • Through managers identify personnel training needs.  Actively promote training and personal development on site.  (Costs to be controlled within agreed budgets).
    • All managers are expected to exhibit a flexible approach to working and the performance of other management tasks may be required for the well being and advancement of the business.

    Requirements

    • B.Tech/BE from reputed institute.
    • 5-6 Yrs. of Work exp. with relevant exposure in handling multiple milling lines.

    Production Manager

    The Production Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of high-capacity pasta production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality output in line with company objectives. The role requires an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in pasta manufacturing, especially in managing FAVA Spaghetti lines, and proven ability to optimize plant performance, manpower, and processes through strong leadership and systematic control of KPIs.

    Key Deliverables

    • Led end-to-end pasta production planning and execution, ensuring optimal use of equipment, materials, and manpower.
    • Operated high-capacity FAVA Spaghetti lines, maintained OEE, and enforced preventive maintenance.
    • Ensured ISO 22000 compliance, product quality, and hygiene across production and packaging.
    • Managed and motivated teams, ensured shift coordination, discipline, and a safety-first culture.
    • Tracked KPIs, analyzed performance data, and presented reports to senior management.
    • Utilized SAP for production, inventory, and reporting; supported digital process improvements.
    • Controlled waste, optimized costs, and implemented lean, sustainable practices.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors / Master’s degree in Food Technology, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-capacity pasta production lines.
    • Proven hands-on experience with FAVA Spaghetti lines is a strong advantage.
    • Strong understanding of production management principles, OEE, and lean manufacturing practices.
    • Proficiency in SAP ERP and production data management.
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO 22000 or other food certification systems.

    Area Sales Manager - Abuja

    Strategic Effectiveness

    • Strong planning skills, building the regional sales plan as per the organizational distribution segment strategy.
    • Building and driving the quarterly sales and revenue targets, ensuring regional sales objectives are achieved.
    • A keen eye on performance, managing ground activities as per plans and objectives and taking remedial action in cases of deviations.

    Operational Effectiveness

    • Be the centre of the action, control and guide sales and distribution activities within the region.
    • You would have strong market connects, identify and report competitor activities within the region. Plan the necessary actions to counter them and to protect your market share.

    Requirements

    • Good knowledge of the region and its geography and demographics.
    • Bsc with 5 years of post-qualification industry experience.
    • Prior experience in sales and distribution required.
    • Prior experience selling pasta, flour, semo is required.
