    Commissioning Electrical Supervisor

    Job Summary / Role Description

    Job Summary / Role Description

    • He cooperates with commissioning group during the Precommissioning and the commissioning phases as per project requirements.

    Commissioning Instrument Superintendent

    Job Summary / Role Description

    • He supports the Commissioning Manager in the activities of planning, execution, documentation preparation and hand over to the Client of the facilities as per project requirements.
    • He ensures at site the implementation of the procedures.
    • He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures
    • He reports to the Commissioning Manager.
    • He is assigned to the Project by Commissioning Head of Department.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    His main responsibilities are:

    • Ensure that all precommissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according to stated procedures and agreed schedule.
    • Ensure that quality standards and safety procedures are being followed by commissioning staff, including adherence to work permit requirements.
    • Review the precommissioning and commissioning procedures for all installations under his responsibilities (field instrumentation, fire and gas units, on line analyzers, telecommunication system).
    • Develop new or review the existing inspection forms for the precommissioning and commissioning activities pertaining to instrument activities.
    • With reference to the General Precommissioning Schedule system wise, prepare the detailed program for all Instrumentation items. Define the daily activities and develop the day by day planning following the priorities agreed with the Commissioning Superintendent.
    • Coordinates Field instrument activities with Commissioning Control Systems
    • Superintendent in order to ensure a smooth execution of the Commissioning Plan, in line with the constrains and priorities defined by the Commissioning Manager.
    • Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out as per schedule.
    • Assign the tasks to the supervisors/assistants;
    • Support the CIS and cooperate with the other Commissioning discipline Superintendents (mechanical, electrical, and control systems) in order to complete the precommissioning and commissioning activities to allow a smooth handover of the project within the target dates and priorities defined with the Commissioning Manager.
    • Report and update on the progress of the activities.
    • Liaise with Client Project Team, Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors Representatives.
    • Propose to the Commissioning Manager and CVC the needs for mobilization of Vendors specialists. Organize and follow up in field all the activities required to implement the Vendors requirements and activities at Site.
    • Support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.
    • Ensure availability of commissioning spares and consumables for the execution of activity
    • Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit
    • To Work according to the project Permit To Work Procedure.
    • Coordinate and supervise the Construction support activities during the execution of the precommissioning, commissioning activities.

    • University Degree or equivalent Study background.

    Experience:

    • Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as Commissioning Instrument Superintendent.
    • Plants for the gas treatment

    Commissioning Electrical Assistant

    Job Summary / Role Description

    • The Commissioning Electrical Loto Assistant executes the activities pertaining to his discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
    • He reports to Commissioning Electrical Supervisor
    • He is assigned to the Project by Commissioning Head of Department.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    His main responsibilities are:

    • To implement the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment.
    • Execute with the assigned crew from the Sub Contractor all the activities pertaining to the discipline.
    • Ensure effective utilization of commissioning manpower and consumables
    • Ensure the execution of Vendor’s specialists field activities with the assigned resources from the Sub Contractor as per Vendor’s representative plan.
    • Perform Checklist as per supervisor instructions.
    • Prepare the forms for all tests to be performed and ensure submission of the certificates, duly signed by involved parties for final hand over to the certification engineer (QA/QC).
    • To assure the proper safety procedures are followed during cable tests (meggering, induction test), test of motors, transformers, relays, electrical panels etc.
    • Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit
    • To Work according to the project Permit To Work Procedure
    • Assistance to supervisor for:
      • Expediting of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning
      • Superintendent (COT) priorities;
      • Coordination and supervision of Construction support activities during the performance of the pre-commissioning, commissioning activities.
