    Outside Plant Engineer (OSP)

    Job Responsibilities

    • To meet OHS, construction, build quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.
    • To manage any welfare requirements of the civils/cabling/splicing gangs.
    • To liaise with local authorities and residents as appropriate to ensure compliance with local requirements prior to and during any construction.
    • To ensure that the correct liaison with local authorities and residents has taken place and any local requirements are adhered to.
    • To attend any meetings as required, on-site or at the local authorities' premises.
    • To provide technical expertise and be the single point of contact/escalation on all aspects of fibre build and construction; this includes all civils (including re-instatement), cabling and splicing/testing activities, plus production/completion of associated (as-built) documentation within agreed timescales;
    • To manage and track the build/construction team deliverables, ensuring compliance with OHS, contract obligations, and achievement of SLAs and KPIs.
    • To deliver the agreed monthly site audit documentation and implement any corrective action/continuous improvement plans.
    • To provide regular progress updates of individual jobs to the fibre services teams as required.
    • To be an on-call supervisor (scheduled as part of the agreed rota) to manage any fibre network maintenance call outs to satisfactory resolution. This includes providing regular reports and customer updates.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage sub-contract teams on-site to construct high quality FTTX and B2B fibre networks in the UK; including project/site induction, work schedules and ongoing project communication, such as toolbox talks, stand down meetings and OHS requirements.
    • Ensure and assure safe systems of works are followed and adhered to for the entire duration of the work/project.
    • Provide real time point of escalation for field staff and the civils/cabling/splicing gangs to resolve any issues and problems in a timely and professional manner; Assist with clearing and resolving any issues on site.
    • Ensure that the gangs complete work safely and in a timely and professional manner to agreed timescales, project processes and procedures.
    • Setup and manage an effective quality control and "right first time" verification process for fibre build/construction by internal and third-party teams.
    • Deliver network build/construction programmer to agreed quality of service and financial targets.
    • Ensure all permit conditions are being met on site.
    • Keep accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.
    • Keep up to date on fibre services deployment and construction innovations in the UK to drive improvements in cost, quality, innovation, efficiency, and deadlines.

    Requirements / Key Skills

    • Experience of UK fixed and cable operator network build guidelines and ways of working, including GPON, FTTX and HFC networks
    • Knowledge of The New Roads and Street Works Act, 1991 (NRSWA), and its ancillary legislation and the various Codes of Practice
    • Accreditation to NRWSA Supervisor level; Have a first aid qualification and ideally trained to Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) level
    • Knowledge of HSG47 "Avoiding danger from underground services", together with all OHS requirements and applicable laws
    • Excellent understanding of fibre network architectures and network topologies
    • 5+ years of network build experience in the UK fibre services industry or civils industry
    • Knowledge of FTTx topology including mixed networks with GPON, G.Fast, VDSL, HFC, DOCSIS
    • Knowledge of available passive components applicable to FTTx networks and FTTx deployment technologies.
    • Experience conducting quality control of fibre engineering build/construction
    • Experience of managing OSP civils operatives and cabling/splicing engineers
    • Understanding of OSP network build key drivers affecting cost in OSP network roll outs
    • Ability to work as part of an on-call rota, including night work as part of a 24x7 SLA
    • Demonstrates active listening skills with customers and internal teams
    • Good knowledge of network build from exchange/head end to customer premises
    • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and up-to-date working knowledge of related legislation
    • Good knowledge of private wayleave and customer consents
    • Knowledge of the catalogue of HAUC & NJUG published advice notes.
    • Knowledge of the various trench excavation methods, including but not limited to manual digging, top-cutting, mechanical trenching, narrow trenching, mole-ploughing, directional-drilling
    • Good knowledge of backfill & reinstatement materials & their associated HAUC approval status.
    • Good knowledge of the traffic management Code of Practice
    • Good knowledge of TMA and permitting/noticing legislations.

    Wireless Engineer

    Job Description

    • Responsible for wireless project delivery, such as guiding equipment installation, eNodeB configuration and core network configuration.
    • Provides guidance for installation teams to install wireless devices on the site and ensures that the installation complies with standards.
    • Responsible for the configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new eNodeB sites.
    • Communicate with TD about the delivery progress, issues, and help-seeking requests.
    • Co-ordinate with TAC for the resolution of critical issue. Always escalate SR ticket on eCare system, whether he/she can solve or not and monitor it until solved. Close the ticket within SLA.
    • Be on standby 24/7 for remote support as required.
    • Able to summarize, explain and upload troubleshooting cases.

    Requirements
    Qualification and Experience:

    • 1 or more years of experience in mobile communications industry
    • Get HCIP-LTE certification.

    Technical Skills:

    • Good knowledge of Huawei wireless eLTE equipments(eNodeB, eOMC910, eCNS210, eMDC/eUDC);
    • Good knowledge of Huawei wireless terminals (EG860, EP820, EM720);
    • Good knowledge of eLTE Broadband Trunking Solution.
    • Know network elements of Huawei vender in one or more Non-wireless domain.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.
    • Experience with wireless hardware Installation and Configuration (like eNodeB);
    • Basic data analysis and problem analysis capabilities to find out cause and provide solution.

    Energy Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Delivery and maintenance of site power products.
    • Project delivery and maintenance of solar power plants.
    • Deliver and maintain data center L1 projects.
    • Deliver and maintain the network management system for energy products.
    • Provide training for channel partners.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Experience in project delivery and network maintenance of energy products.
    • Get HCIP-DCF certification.
    • University specialization in Electricity.

    Technical Skills:

    • Have 2+ years work experiences on energy area.
    • Independently deliver and maintain energy products.
    • Have general knowledge of L1 systems of the data center, such as the fire extinguishing system, HVAC system, power system, and water supply and drainage system.
    • Complete the layout design of small-sized data centers.
    • Have the ability about the delivery of small projects.

    NOC MS Transmission Team Leader

    • Overall Manager of Transmission team in Back Office.
    • Manage all Transmission Back Office Activities.
    • Ensure Management reporting on NOC and participate in Management Meetings.

    • Setup up and ensure conducting Weekly governance management setup with customer and addressing all issues in issue log as per agreed timelines.
    • Proactively making improvement / Handling plans for 1). All KPI's not meeting the SLA/WLA's; 2). handling of special events; 3). regulatory performance and guideline adherence; 4. Network Security implementation.
    • Daily monitoring of the networks.
    • Taking corrective action accordingly.
    • Ensure preventive maintenance.
    • Checking repeated outages.
    • Implementation of audit tracker.
    • Ensure standardization of processes and changes as agreed with the customer incorporated, educated, and complied to by Transmission team.
    • Sharing findings of other critical issue.
    • Provide support to circle team and ensure getting timely KPI outage, SLA, and site signoff.
    • Ensure Spare parts availability through customer and SPMS department.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Experience in project delivery and network maintenance of transmission network products, including WDM or SDH/MSTP products is priority
    • HCIE-Transmission or HCIP-Transmission certificates is priority

    Technical Skills:

    • Be proficient in using U2000/NCE, routine maintenance and inspection.
    • Have a basic command of the features, service planning and configuration, and service cutover MOP of DWDM and MSTP products.
    • Have a basic command of the SD process and CS process for routine maintenance of transmission network and products.
    • Good communication skills, service awareness, teamwork spirit, and good execution ability.
