    Head of Unit, IT Infrastructure Management

    Job Objective/Summary: 

    The Head of Unit, IT Infrastructure Management is responsible for overseeing the bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of all technology systems. This role ensures the smooth operation of hardware, networks, servers, and cloud services while supporting the bank’s digital transformation goals and regulatory compliance.  

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Develop and implement strategies for managing the bank’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
    • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of IT systems to support business operations.
    • Oversee data centre operations, including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
    • Monitor and optimize IT system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
    • Manage vendor relationships and procurement for IT infrastructure components.
    • Lead a team of IT infrastructure specialists, ensuring skill development and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with other IT units to support digital banking initiatives and business process automation. 

    Job Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, or systems engineering, preferably in the financial sector.
    • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) is an advantage.
    • Certifications in IT infrastructure management (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL, COBIT) are preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing, and IT security.
    • Proficiency in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and virtualization.

    Job Objective/Summary: 

    The Lead, Business Process Management (BPM) is responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing the bank’s business processes to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and compliance. This role ensures that processes are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation. 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Develop and implement the bank’s business process management framework, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Identify, analyze, and optimize core banking processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
    • Lead process automation initiatives and digital transformation efforts to enhance operational effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements in all business processes.
    • Conduct process training and capacity-building sessions for employees to ensure adherence to best practices.

    Job Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 7+ years of experience in MIS, data management, business intelligence, or IT roles within the financial sector.
    • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is an advantage.
    • Certifications in business process management, Lean Six Sigma, or process automation (e.g., CBPP, Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, Agile, ITIL) are preferred.
    • Strong understanding of business process modelling, reengineering, and automation.
    • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as BPMN, Visio, or other workflow management platforms.

    The IT Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of the bank’s IT systems and applications.     Job Objective/Summary:

    Database Administration (DBA) Officer

    Job Objective/Summary: 

    The Database Administration (DBA) Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s database systems to ensure data integrity, security, availability, and optimal performance. This role supports the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of databases, ensuring they meet business and regulatory requirements. 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS).
    • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
    • Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies. 
    • Perform regular database backups and support disaster recovery planning.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure system availability.
    • Support database development, including query optimization and indexing.
    • Manage user access controls and permissions for database security.
    • Document database structures, policies, and procedures for audit and operational efficiency.

    Job Requirements: 

    • A good bachelor’s degree/HND, preferably in Computer Sciences/IT or related discipline, plus professional banking certification (CIBN); an MBA and/or other relevant postgraduate or professional qualification will be added advantage.
    • 2+ years of experience in database administration, preferably in a financial institution.
    • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) is an advantage.
    • Certifications in database management (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or AWS Database Speciality) are preferred.
    • Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
    • Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
    • Experience with database security and access control.
    • Experience with cloud-based database solutions like AWS RDS or Azure SQL.
