    Technical Services Engineer

    Summary

    • Responsible for account management of New customers – Key Construction site and Real Estates within the Region , as well as finding new prospects and establishing new businesses. 

    Responsibilties 

    Sales

    • Meeting your sales targets for the month so that Contract can be extended: Maintaining new and existing customers and seeking out new accounts, demonstrating the range of mortar products and maintaining customer relationships.
    • Reporting regularly and attending the periodic (weekly, monthly) meetings. Planning visits, prioritising and making prospect appointments. Closing deals with prospects.
    • Conducting site visits with customers which include discovery and training on mortar products. Daily, weekly and monthly reports. 

    Technical

    • Conducts on-site visits to provide hands-on assistance and advice to customers on mortar.
    • Carries out pre and post sales customer engagement applications and services & engages professionals, contractors, specifiers/influencers on new developments and applications.
    • Conducts marketing campaigns and promotion by engagement of contractors, artisans, etc., through group & individual meetings.
    • Attending trade shows, seminars and similar relevant events.​​​​​

    Product Range & Quality

    • Identify new product opportunities from market/site visits and share information with Technical/Product Development and Manufacturing in developing new range of mortars to ensure our products meet customer expectations

    Mobile Plant Operators

    Summary

    • The objective of the Mobile Plant Operator is to operate mobile plant equipment safely, productively and efficiently to achieve the company objectives. 

    Responsibilities

    The following responsibilities are general duties that mobile plant operators are required to perform :

    • Firstly walk around the machine and take note of oblivious damage that may have been caused by operation during last shift.
    • Always obey instruction giving on warning labels on the equipment and the following :
    • Carry out pre-start checks on the machine before starting, to include the following:
      • Check the engine oil
      • Hydraulic oil level
      • Radiator water level, tyre pressure, transmission oil, fuel level, battery terminal, wheel nuts, brake oil and propeller shaft bolt and others in line with mobile plant equipment check list attached.
    • Proficiently operate all of our core equipment, which includes the following equipments :
      • Backhoes, 
      • Bobcat, 
      • Bulldozers, 
      • Excavators, 
      • Front-end loaders, and forklift trucks to level, excavate, move and load , limestone, marl shale and other materials.
      • Dump truck
      • Perform job responsibilities safely in a busy, sometimes, stressful environment, operating and working varied under-footing and weather conditions around trucks,stcokpiles  and personnel.
      • Comply with the operations and maintenance guide for all of the above mentioned equipment.
      • Perform tasks that have to do with landfill operations as assigned or directed by the shift team leader.
      • Operate an equipment productively for hours per day, year-round in all types of local weather and ground conditions (i.e the work conditions for mobile plant operators can be hot, muddy, dusty and noisy)
      • Service the equipment by cleaning and re-fuelling it at appropriate time
      • Report any instances to the shiftleader and workshop for repairs when necessary
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent from time to time.

    Education & Qualification

    • Minimum of GCE/ SSCE with 2-3 years relevant experience in earth moving equipment operation plus class G or H driver certificate/license.
    • Ability to operate and monitor the equipment in order to detect fault in the cause of operation
    • Good interpersonal skill

    Mechanical Technician

    Summary

    • Role holder is responsible for ensuring that the plant equipment is well maintained at optimum cost and ensuring completion and quality of the execution of maintenance jobs. 

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the maintenance and well being of the relevant equipment 
    • Record some possible anomalies observed on the equipment during maintenance or inspection.
    • Monitor the time requirements for each job and the optimal manpower and skills necessary for executing jobs.
    • Supervise the trial of equipment after maintenance.

    Electrical Engineer

    Summary

    • Improvement of the reliability factor of plant electrical equipment and supply the electrical energy required by the company with the highest level of safety, quality and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability.

    Responsibilities 

    • Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of plant electrical  systems and equipment
    • Investigate electrical failures, document and communicate RCFA findings
    • Analyze the results performance of electrical maintenance (time spent to perform the jobs, frequency of the job, spares and consumables utilized during the job in order to propose ways for optimizing efficiency.
    • Control the isolation procedure and safety points during plant isolation and other activities in the sub-station using the LOTOTO work instruction
    • Read and interpret Electrical drawings, manuals, codes and specifications to determine layout of plant equipment installations, write procedure or troubleshoot equipment failure.
    • Install, inspect, replace or repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
    • Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance using Multi-meter, Insulation resistance tester or PDMA machine
    • Maintain, repair, install and test breakers, switchgears, transformers and their accessories.
    • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, Substation UPS & their batteries, and pneumatic electrical control systems
    • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair plant electrical & control systems and other related devices
    • Develop maintenance and standard operating procedure for electrical systems and equipment
    • Come up with design if required to modify or upgrade electrical equipment for improvement
    • Start-up or shutdown the plant from the main substation and communicate with system power plant operators to coordinate transmission loads, frequency and line voltages.
    • Operate plant emergency generator to provide power for lighting and air-conditioning systems in the plant in the event of total power outage
    • Control the switching of power on Medium & Low voltage switchgears in respective MCC’s and ensures distribution of power downstream in respective shops, estates and buildings.
    • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions and also observe relevant information for all actions involving switchgear and switchboard.
    • Monitor and carry out work by inspection (WBI) and send daily report for plant equipment, switch gears, pumps, compressors, valves, gauges, alarms, meters and other instruments to measure temperature, flow, or other equipment malfunctions and to ensure plant equipment is operating at maximum efficiency.
    • Carry out periodic calibration, Validation of instruments as per schedule or as required to enhance equipment performance and document results.
    • Troubleshoot and perform corrective action and minor repairs to prevent equipment or system failure
    • Carry out assessment of the section to ensure safety and clean conditions of the areas during and after every intervention.
    • To control the execution of electrical interventions defined on the work orders and maintenance schedule and update all maintenance records
    • Defining specification for purchasing of spares parts and appraising the quality of spares and suppliers
    • Prepare material cost, timing estimates, reports and design specifications for electrical systems and equipment
    • Prepare job scope, contract documents and evaluate tenders for maintenance with procurement team.
    • Guides, train subordinates (Technicians & Craftsmen) in electrical activities, control the efficiency and effectiveness of, and appraise the subordinates once a year.
    • Attend daily core team meetings and give Electrical Manager feedback every morning at the departmental meetings.

      Safety

    • Ensure all transformer pens and Sub-stations are always locked
    • Ensure all pull switches and cords on conveyors are tested periodically for efficient use
    • Ensure all site electrical panels doors are closed always
    • Ensure adequate closure of all safety related reports by subordinates.

     IMS

    • Ensure involvement in the implementation and maintenance of integrated management system in the plant.

    Sales & Logistics Administrator

    Summary 

    The person in charge should:

    • Serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about Mortar products, orders and deliveries and provide support for the Mortar sales representatives and Team
    • To execute and organize the Sales, Logistics and Marketing administration activities in order to achieve customers satisfaction with Mortar services.
    • Understand the Sales Process dynamics, set up a survey and identify the main internal & external stakeholders and have a deep knowledge about Customer service best practises.

    Responsibilities 

    Provides support in Sales, Logistics & Marketing administration;

    • Master Data management (Customers, Vendors, Materials)
    • Prepare commercial offer to Customers to be reviewed and discussed with the Head of Mortar in consultation with the Mortar Sales Representatives.
    • Upload of the data related Mortar Forecast
    • Prepare of documents related to material and logistic as a base for invoicing, tax payments, open accounts receivables & payables and any reports to authorities
    • Keep the evidence of weekly delivery plans in order to support the Mortar Team
