    Marketing Communications Business Partner

    Job Summary:

    As a Marketing Communications Business Partner within our Group Marketing Team, you play a pivotal role in driving the marketing efforts for our retail division. You will collaborate closely with the Group Marketing Team to align brand and marketing strategies, yet your primary focus will be tailoring campaigns and initiatives to suit the unique needs and objectives of the retail division. Reporting directly to the Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, you will ensure the conceptualization, development, and execution of the retail division’s holistic and tactical marketing plans as fits under the Masterbrand and group marketing agenda. You will be accountable for providing support for the division’s market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, customer acquisition and retention, and customer experience strategies. This role is for a strategic and creative thinker who can balance autonomy with teamwork in achieving marketing success

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
    • Create targeted campaigns across various channels to promote products, services, and brand awareness.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
    • Deliver on the Retail Division’s Marketing objectives.
    • Work with Group Marketing to align Brand Architecture
    • Uphold and enhance the company\'s brand identity across all communication channels.
    • Align brand messaging and ensure consistency with brand manual.
    • Lead the development of marketing collateral for the division including presentations, brochures, banners, etc.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and employees.
    • Coordinate events, sponsorships, and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
    • Respond to inquiries and feedback from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
    • Support with generating engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, and email newsletters.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
    • Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
    • Support the group marketing team to improve and achieve set individual and organizational goals.
    • Support CEA with creative communication to stakeholders as aligned with brand tone of voice.
    • Keep track of net promoter score as well as other customer experience metrics including acquisition and churn rate.
    • Translate group brand promise to stakeholder division and escalate when threatened.
    • Track mentions and alerts across all channels to ensure the brand reputation is optimal and protected.
    • Execute crisis management at stakeholder division level and ensure strict compliance.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • BA/B.Sc./HND in Advertising, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and Marketing or related field (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
    • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the telecommunications/technology sector or advertising agency.
    • Experience working within a group marketing structure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
    • Understanding of marketing principles, branding strategies, and communication techniques.
    • Ability to execute marketing strategies across ATL and BTL channels.
    • Strong understanding of content marketing to support sales and customer experience.
    • An eye for emerging consumer trends and identifying threats in competitive marketing.
    • Data-driven mindset and an understanding of key marketing metrics in measuring success.
    • Experience developing marketing reports to showcase KPI achievements leveraging such tools as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    System Analyst/Developer

    Job summary:

    Primary responsibility for the development and support of the OSS/BSS platform and its integration with other systems and applications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement APIs and application modules in support of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems
    • Prepare test plan and perform system acceptance testing
    • Analyze and troubleshoot issues as part of application support
    • Application software configuration, enhancement and adaptation
    • Data analysis and develop reports using T-SQL
    • Work with the Billing team, Operations team, Product development team and/or other stakeholders to gain understanding necessary for enhancements, maintenance, and problem resolution for existing applications; and maintain continuous awareness of users’ needs/expectations relevant to the technical evolutions of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems
    • Analyze OSS/BSS enhancement requests
    • Creates work plans, develops schedules, and develops time and cost estimates for projects
    • Creates all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.
    • Prepares routine periodic project status reports and communicates with customers, as needed
    • Attends staff and technical meetings for the work unit

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum 2.1/ Upper Credit Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.  
    • Hands-on experience with Perl programming,Linux, Postgres RDBMS, and Apache web server required
    • Demonstrated experience developing database-driven web applications using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java, a plus
    • Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS software. Freeside and FreeRadius, a big advantage
    • Experience with software development (user experience) using JavaScript including libraries such as JQuery, Angular, React, Vue etc. XML,CSS3.0 (with dynamic, responsive web design with mobile devices), and other related UI technologies(HTML5 etc)
    • Strong system integration skills
    • Good understanding of web application development using HTTP REST, software standards,software development life cycle and methodologies
    • Knowledge of software development process,quality control, and impact assessment
    • Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms,internet technologies and user interface
    • Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX,Mac-OS and Windows) environment.
    • Experience working with version control systems (Subversion, Git)
    • Solid problem solver
    • Ability to quickly learn and apply new tool sets, technology and concepts
    • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, deal with changing priorities, and to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to present information and ideas clearly and succinctly and to explain various application software and hardware to end users
