    Associate Head of Legal, Charity, and Humanitarian Affairs

    Core Responsibilities

    • Assisting the Head of Legal in managing a portfolio of over 30+ legal, research, advocacy, charitable and humanitarian projects.
    • Creating and implementing humanitarian/charitable projects for impoverished villages, such as medical outreaches, food distribution (raw or cooked), water projects, classroom renovations, and small/medium-scale business support.
    • Soliciting and facilitating fundraising, sponsorships, and grant opportunities to support charitable activities.
    • Coordinating the full implementation of the Innocent Back 2 School Project, Sepsis Awareness Project, and Orphanage Homes Visit.
    • Leading the development of projects aimed at addressing humanitarian challenges and reducing socio-economic inequalities in low-income areas.
    • Developing and implementing annual webinars, seminars, conferences, and workshops targeted at rural communities.
    • ㅤDesigning projects that empower rural communities, particularly in sustainable food systems and agro-farming.
    • Building partnerships and fostering sustainable relationships with NGOs, government agencies, and other non-governmental organizations.
    • Enhancing the foundation’s visibility by promoting its advocacy work in the media and press.
    • Efficiently managing small budgets in project implementation while driving significant impact.
    • Bringing innovative and fresh ideas to advance the foundation’s progress and development.

    Core Requirements

    • Educated to a Degree level from an accredited university and with extensive experience.
    • A Minimum of 3 years experience in NGO, charity, humanitarian or legal framework.
    • Excellent speaking, presentation, communication and organisational Skills.
    • Robust and extensive contact within legal, charity and humanitarian terrain.
    • Capacity to Support, deliver and contribute to over 30 project portfolios of the Head of Legal, Research and Impact.
    • Evidence of raising funds, securing donations, grants/partnerships, fundraising pitch and securing donors.

    Salary and Benefit

    • N150,000 - N200,000 / Month. Depending on Experience.

    Associate Head of Legal, Research, and Impact

    Core Responsibilities

    • Deliver and implement over 30+ foundations annual project work plan/portfolio focused on legal education, humanitarian and charitable actions for people of African Descent.
    • Develop and implement annual Moot Court Competitions, National Debate Competition, law lectures, webinars, seminars, conferences, and workshops.
    • Develop and implement executive training programs, mentoring schemes, reading tours, book clubs, campus
    • chambers, annual essay competitions.
    • Oversee the publication of HJIUF online journal, book launch and new book publication such as Essays in the Honour of Hon. Justice Innocent Azubike Umezulike.
    • Build and strengthen a coalition of law students, Student Advisory Board, academic experts and key stakeholders, including volunteers and interns.
    • Oversee existing scholarships, Identify exceptional new candidates for scholarships,
    • scholarship awards ceremonies, co-ordinate new law scholarships and grants.
    • Inaugurate and set up Hon Justice Innocent Umezulike Chambers and Award for best graduating student in Land or Property Law in Nigerian University.
    • Inter-face, develop and coordinate with the deans or property law lecturers for effective distribution and sale of Law books authored by Hon. Justice Innocent Umezulike OFR.   
    • Enhance optimal visibility of the foundation in the media by promoting the Foundation’s advocacy work in the media and press. 
    • Create student focused social media competitions, give away and programs to generate audience interaction and engagement.    
    • Create sustainable relationships with NGOs, Government and Non- governmental organisations, NBA, Academia, Law Schools, the Judiciary and Law Students.  
    • Provide and lead your own initiative, constantly providing cutting edge innovation, programs, and directions to ensure the foundation stays ahead and forges new pathways. 

    Core Requirements

    • Mandatory Education: Law Graduate (LLB), Barrister and Solicitor (BL). 
    • Desirable but not Mandatory: Masters Degree (LLM).
    • Minimum of 5 years Post Call to Bar Experience in law practice, academia or legal framework.
    • Excellent Speaking, Presentation, Communication and Organisational Skills.
    • Extensive Contact within National Legal, Law Academic and Judicial Terrain. 

    Salary and Benefit

    • N250,000 - N280,000 / Month Depending on Experience and Core Responsibility.

    Associate Assistant, ICT and Social Media Support

    Core Responsibilities

    • Provide basic technical, IT support for office systems, including setting up and maintaining virtual meeting platforms.
    • Social Media Management & Content Creation, including developing, scheduling, and publishing engaging content to engineer growth.
    • Update and manage website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    • Provide technical assistance during virtual and hybrid events, ensuring smooth streaming.
    • Provide general office technical support, including coordinating with speakers and stakeholders for seamless digital event execution.
