    State Business Manager, East Central

    Reporting to: Zonal Business Manager, East.

    The Role

    • The State Business Manager is a senior professional for Greenlight Planet EasyBuy channel in Nigeria who will lead sales and distribution operations across Edo and Delta states and their environs.
    • This is a leadership position which takes full operational responsibility for all market-side functions of the direct sales business.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales Management:

    • Achieve Easy Buy Direct & Retail Sales revenue targets.
    • Ensure Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports are accurate and submitted within agreed timelines.
    • Ensuring that reports are prepared and submitted on time to the Management.
    • Strategic planning.
    • Proper management of default rates to agreeable set limits by overseeing quality customer registration, collection and repossession.

    Team Management:

    • Recruitment and Retention of state sales teams through proper training, management and performance review.
    • Proper recruitment of teams following set guidelines and policies by GLP HR.
    • Objectively document review process and set time for subsequent reviews.
    • Maintain optimum headcount as agreed from time to time
    • Ensure that all teams have the required tools and materials for trade execution

    Trade Management:

    • Develop and Propose incentives to motivate the channel and Team to ensure high levels of motivation and performance.
    • Develop and Implement action plans for trade with clear corrective measure where required.
    • Ensure that all competitor activities are countered with effective responses to avoid loss of market share.
    • Ensure Visibility in the trade is high and as per agreed picture of success at all outlets.

    Resource Management:

    • Management, Development and Nurturing of Direct Reports and resources assigned to self.
    • Ensure that all cost and expenses are kept within acceptable levels and within budget

    Requirements
    The ideal State Business Manager:

    • Has a Degree in a Business-related field OR equivalent
    • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in field sales or in a sales environment.
    • Has excellent Computer knowledge with comprehensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Has extensive Customer Care experience
    • Familiar with Edo and Delta States - coverage areas for the role. Must reside in either Benin or Asaba or willing to relocate to either.
    • Has high innovative skills, thinking out of the box, tests out opinions, cost conscious
    • Is excellently skilled in Planning, Organizing, Prioritizing , Maximizing value and see the big picture
    • Is able to develop trust, skillfully builds relations, works on internal & external relationships
    • Listens well, coaches’ others and is disciplined in their learning practice
    • Has Operation Excellence (Keeps promise, is Decisive, seeks to be informed and gives excellent Customer Satisfaction).

    Regional Mentor (South-South)

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers (Must reside here)

    Reporting to: Training Manager, Nigeria

    About the Role

    • Greenlight Planet is looking for a Regional Mentor who will be saddled with the responsibility of training, developing content and mentoring sales staff & agents within the Region.

    Responsibilities
    Key responsibilities for the role include:

    • Delivering classroom and/or field training.
    • Maintaining set KPIs and achieving training targets as required.
    • Designing training assessments with the guidance of the Training Manager.
    • Ensuring 100% adoption and usage of technology-based work tools by all field staff.
    • Driving consistent & accelerated learning performance through data tools.
    • Sharing timely communication of policies, training updates & changes to the relevant departments.
    • Collecting and sharing feedback on the implementations of new tools, products and processes.
    • Running & administration of knowledge-based platforms.
    • Drive engagement & lesson completion of Litmos (learning management system).
    • Induction and mentoring of field-based staff.
    • Supporting the development and improvement of training materials and concepts.

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate:

    • At least 2 years background in training and coaching; preferably in the areas of sales or marketing.
    • Ability to conceptualize and develop a conducive learning environment.
    • Diligence, accuracy, reliability and high level of commitment.
    • Fluency in English and other local languages within South West
    • Skilled in Microsoft office and other visualization tools.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Flexibility to travel frequently in remote areas.
    • A Degree in Education or any related field is a plus.
    • Conversant with the use of smartphones and phone applications.
    • Has excellent communication skills.

    Associate Human Resource Business Partner

    Reporting to: Human Resource Business Partner, Nigeria

    About the Role

    • Greenlight Planet is looking for an Associate to join its Human Resources Management team in Nigeria.
    • The Associate Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with the HR team to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.

    Responsibilities
    Key responsibilities for the role include:

    • Support Talent Acquisition Associate in the recruitment of staff across a range of professional levels from associates to senior team leaders within defined Service Level Agreements and budgets.
    • On-boarding and induction of new employees
    • Working with the HRBP, Nigeria to drive a strong performance culture amongst the West African teams
    • Handling employee grievances amicably and within reasonable timelines
    • Ensuring HR policies are up to date and accessible to all staff
    • Attending disciplinary hearings and ensuring disciplinary procedures are followed in line with company policy and relevant legislation
    • Ensuring the privacy of employee data and maintain up to date personnel files
    • Providing timely payroll inputs for processing
    • Actively participating in HR projects aimed towards delivering the HR agenda
    • Delivering excellent information through weekly and/or monthly HR reports

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate:
