    Operations Lead (4 Months Contract)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implement strategies in alignment with business initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus for the Production Hub
    • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
    • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize artisans and equipment to produce optimal results
    • Responsible for production output, product quality
    • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
    • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
    • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
    • Maintain a trusting relationship with the team, support recruitment, manage and develop Artisan resources
    • Work closely with various units to make sure activities remain compliant
    • Oversee materials and inventory management
    • Deliver and plan targets and improve business performance through enhanced productivity, operational efficiencies, and commitment to quality, health, and safety of resources
    • Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving products, issuing product people utilization, equipment utilization, inventory management
    • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
    • Build a high-performing team and develop people through training, coach mentoring, and engagement

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years’ proven experience in Operations management position
    • Minimum B.Sc / HND in Operations Management or related
    • Have good problem-solving skills
    • Possess strong leadership capabilities
    • Good knowledge of Supply chain Management
    • Knowledge of ERP applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and G-Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)

    Food Production Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the fast-food business operations
    • Supervises the production of confectionaries, food, and pastries across all Outlets
    • Ensures that production materials are on hand and available at all times in all Outlets.
    • Oversee production cost and makes recommendations on effective cost reduction strategies for the entire production unit
    • Supervises the preparation of production raw materials in a manner that will guarantee sensible delivery of the freshest products.
    • Trains production unit team members in the areas of safety, job functions, and general practices of food production.
    • Constantly observe and analyze creation and quality records to certify compliance with production policies and product specifications.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products across all stores
    • Manage production activities to ensure standard output
    • Oversee the process of ordering raw materials for production use
    • Draw up a production schedule; monitor day-to-day operations to ensure production of quality items.
    • Takes full responsibility for ensuring that all products produced are wholesome, healthy, free from contaminations, and safe
    • Report maintenance damages/ malfunctions to the administrative team as soon as discovered to avoid production downtime
    • Manage and develop production systems that increase productivity, quality, food safety, and lower costs.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-7 years Fast Food/ Restaurant experience with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position
    • Bachelors’s degree in any business management-related field is required.
    • A certificate in a renowned culinary school will be an added advantage Experience in sales, marketing, or operations in either Retail or FMCG, will be an added advantage.
    • Experience negotiating and forming strategic partnerships; vendor relationships and regulatory bodies preferred.
    • Proven people management skills particularly with team building and transformational leadership
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Professional and tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
    • Strong leadership and managerial and influence skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Good level of commercial awareness
    • Business Aptitude –ability to manage budgets, schedules, and inventory
