    Head of Eazzylogistics

    REF: 060

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a dynamic professional in the area of Logistics for the various divisions in our Group.
    • To excel in this position, you should be energetic, intuitive, and you must also be able to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate sales results.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead client relationships in relevant relationship negotiations of new large contracts with new clients
    • Develop new opportunities in line with the commercial strategy (new markets, relationship development of potential joint venture partners, new investment projects)
    • Ensure the due diligence process and vetting of all vendors and suppliers being contracted
    • Ensure the consolidation and dissemination of timely and high-quality logistics reports
    • Ensuring completeness of all bids, and advising on tendering strategy
    • Develop and maintain a process of continual engagement with key clients, and monitor Client contacts
    • Maintains close internal relationships with Operations, Commercial and Finance segment across the business to ensure transparency in contract reporting and information access.
    • Reputation: promote the reputation of the organization in all dealings with clients.
    • Advising on appropriate insurance to mitigate against all risks;
    • Coordinate and monitor of contract execution by Consolidating progress and value reporting for analysis by senior management team
    • Advising on variation and potential risks, invoicing and recoveries
    • Review the close-out of all contracts to:
    • Auditing the overall execution of projects to contract;
    • Help to develop processes and procedures for the effective coordination and management of major contracts across board
    • Assist with market development strategy for the assigned deliverable
    • Assisting with revenue forecasting and budgets.
    • Monthly reporting on operation and commercial activities
    • Support development and market analysis, review process to ensure that the management team are kept fully up to date with market developments

    Job Requirements

    • A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or Social Sciences is required
    • Master’s Degree or relevant specializing in Logistics, Marketing and Business Development is a plus.
    • At least 6 years of experience - of which at least 4 years - in supply chain management, inclusive of procurement, transport and distribution, warehouse and stock management;
    • Strong experience in vehicle and fleet management; Managing products, developing programs, planning strategy, and general management.
    • Good presentation skills and Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Office)
    • Ability to manage a variety of programs and projects
    • Detail-oriented and analytical with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Proven work experience is a plus.

    Skill Set:

    • Successful records of distribution and logistics management
    • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
    • Dependable ability to lead and manage staff
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with excellent analytical
    • Problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing products, developing programs, leading business development, managing key accounts, planning strategy, and general management.
    • Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage

    • Ability to manage a variety of programs and projects
    • The ability to work with various levels of stakeholders within and outside the organization
