    Shopper Insights Manager

    Job Description Summary
    Shopper insights:

    • Leads development of shopper understanding with focus on key Africa operating unit channels and shopper journey. Generate key shopper insights by channel.
    • Ensure that key category, and shopper marketing plans are reflective of changing shopper need states and behavior.
    • Lead the mining of digital shopper insights and work closely with the Customer and Commercial and Integrated Marketing teams to drive the execution of digital and ecommerce plans.
    • Model and promote a shopper-first mentality throughout the organization through active immersion, communication of consumer and shopper learning, and sharing of insights.
    • Devise, manage and deliver insights to Inter to support package design, design guidance and standards and apply thinking marketing around consumer journey (Experience Orchestration and Experience Consistency).

    Commercial Insights:

    • Partner with the Category Leads and the Customer and Commercial leads with clear actionable commercial insights based on primary sales, channel, pack, price linked analytics.
    • Lead all ad hoc research projects across categories that include price, pack or channel variables – example conjoint studies.
    • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to business plans, growth forecasts, brand strategies and new product launch plans for all brands in Africa Portfolio.
    • Carry out duties equally through her/his team (including situational coaching and talent development) and individually; and interacting regularly with the Insights Lead, Insights Team, Global Insights lead, Marketing Lead and broader marketing and Customer & Commercial teams.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related fields
    • 5+ years of senior leadership experience including Market Research, Shopper insights, Commercial Analytics preference for additional Marketing, Innovation, experience.
    • Knowledge in Market research techniques
    • Knowledge in Insight approaches, trends and latest industry thinking Marketing execution experience.
    • Be a key partner with business and P&L owners to enable better decision making founded on deep consumer, macro forces and commercial insights.
    • Provide customer support to brands and Operating Unit to enable brand equity building and consumer relationship building, recruitment and loyalty across the portfolio.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Marketing / Communications or related field required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in a previous marketing role. 2+ years of experience in a brand management role with the ability to steward brand initiatives designed to deliver business and brand objectives through the path to purchase (consumer content to in-store execution).  
    • Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., AC Nielsen) used in the analysis of trended consumer and volume dynamics, as well as knowledge of procedures used to drive increases in volume and brand equity (e.g., marketing programs, licensed/specialty merchandise and/or properties) are needed.  
    • Must possess the ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, consumer segmentation) used in the development of marketing plans.

    • The Senior Counsel Corporate & Regulatory as a member of the legal team is responsible for legal advice on regulatory matters, delivering on all significant corporate transactions involving the business and is a key member of the incident crises management team.
    • The Senior Counsel is an expert on CMS (Contract Management Tool) for managing transactions and ensuring business wide compliance with targets on Template Use and Approval systems.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct legal and corporate due diligence for property acquisitions and development projects and handle the legal aspects of development projects.
    • Negotiate, review, and standardize procurement contracts.
    • Support execution of strategic business projects.
    • Protect the company’s interests by ensuring statutory compliances, mitigating legal risks and exposures thus safeguarding the company’s reputation.
    • Support partner functions with initiatives & trainings to strengthen capability on negotiation / contracts management.
    • Share expertise with leadership team and provide advice and guidance on legal matters.
    • Manage legal risk through negotiations, drafting and execution of contracts and other legal documents; and Transformation departments (Partner Functions).
    • Provide strategic and practical legal advice to Partner Functions and leadership team.
    • Collaborate with partner functions to evaluate policies to promote compliance with legal requirements and group policies.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Law; and Qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
    • 10+ years of related professional work experience
    • Demonstrated ability to challenge and influence employees at all levels to build a culture of high integrity and compliance.

    Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance

    Job Responsibilities

    • Review and ensure requirements for Anti-Bribery and Corruption Audits are implemented.
    • Ensure timely delivery of annual awareness programs and follow-up on required actions.
    • Coordinate other departments on required initiatives to strengthen compliance with the ABAC policy.
    • Exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine the Legal risks and response to letters from External Stakeholders (Government, Legal firms, or Unions).
    • Provide guidance to the HR team on the handling of investigations and dealing with enforcement agencies.
    • Conduct legal and corporate due diligence for property acquisitions and development projects and handle the legal aspects of development projects.
    • Serve as a member of the local IMCR.
    • Oversee the investigation process for all COBC and non-COBC matters in Nigeria.
    • Review analysis and evaluate reports of alleged Code of Conduct and policy violations.
    • Review investigation reports and communications which are shared with external stakeholders.
    • Ensure that appropriate conflict disclosures are documented and drive use of the COBC portal.
    • Collaborate with support functions – HR, COBC, DPTS and Internal Control to evaluate policies and training to promote compliance with Company policies.
    • Develop and conduct training, raise awareness, and develop/ maintain relationships with management colleagues across the Country to identify and address key risks.
    • Bring awareness to CCH of the COBC and other policies through creative and targeted training and communication that can be leveraged Country-wide.
    • Monitor COBC trends and develop and deploy training accordingly tailored for specific functions.

    Requirements

    • BL, LLB
    • LLM (or equivalent) desired
    • Experience in analysing complex internal investigations
    • 10+ years of related professional work experience (compliance function).
