    Chief Operating Officer

    Job Description
    Reporting to the President and Chairman, Establishment & Finance Committee with the primarily responsibilities:

    • Manage all information, communication and technology functions/infrastructure for the association;
    • Develop and integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent while satisfying the needs of our clients;
    • Collaborate with the President for corporate growth and evolution
    • Assist the Chairman, Establishment & Finance Committee with financial projections and analyses of existing programs and policies
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures
    • Manage service employees and train them in the latest leadership and technical skills so they can better serve our clients
    • Helm budgeting and resource allocation efforts alongside the other senior management team
    • Ensure all program initiatives align with the company’s core values and culture
    • Leads and coordinates activities, providing leadership so that  Staff might take more initiative in their roles
    • Providing expertise and support to the organization as regards operations
    • Create and execute procedures that will result in the continual improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Secretariat
    • Ensure the Association is aligned to global technology standards, particularly ICANN policies and controls

    Qualifications and Attributes

    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
    • At least 15 years' experience in management position within a medium size  ICT organisation will be an advantage
    • A Master's Degree or MBA would be an added advantage
    • Advanced organizational leadership skills
    • Excellent written, oral and client-facing communication skills
    • Have the ability to read and interpret Financial documents
    • Budget focused mindset
    • Excellent project management and negotiation skills

    Operations Manager

    Job Description

    • Operations Manager: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for:
    • Coordinating and monitoring the overall activities of the operations staff;
    • Designing layouts and developing planting programs;
    • Identifying prospective clients, negotiating with suppliers and customers;
    • Ensuring adequate maintenance of plants and gardens;
    • Coordinating and monitoring pests, diseases and weed control in the gardens;
    • Communicating regularly with customers to maintain excellent business relationships;
    • Keeping records of expenses and income and managing budgets and accounts;
    • Ensuring prompt resolution of customers’ compliant/issues
    • Developing periodic reports on operations;
    • Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Managing Director

    Qualifications/ Attributes/ Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Business related field with a minimum of second class lower (2:2)
    • At least 3years’ experience in a similar or related role
    • Good managerial, organizational and leadership skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good presentation skill
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Conflict and people management skills
    • Ability to multitask, strategize and be proactive.
