    IT Administrator - NYSC

    About The Role

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to support the management and administration of our platforms, including a new Job Board, Local ERP system, and other exciting new initiatives.
    • This role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our digital tools and systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the management and day-to-day administration of internal platforms, including a new Job Board and Local ERP system.
    • Ensure platform stability, performance, and security.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions.
    • Support the implementation and testing of new platform features and updates.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise platform performance.
    • Maintain system documentation and assist with user support.
    • Assist in platform integrations, system audits, and compliance checks.

    Who We Are Looking For

    • An NYSC member currently serving in Abuja.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Experience or strong interest in IT administration, web platforms, and ERP systems.
    • Basic knowledge of web development tools (e.g., CSS, JavaScript, WordPress).
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving system functionality.

    Head, Procurement

    Summary

    • The Head of Procurement is responsible for leading the procurement function, developing and implementing strategies that align with the organisation’s objectives to maximise cost savings, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
    • This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement, with accountability for managing the end-to-end procurement process.
    • As a key partner to senior management, the Head of Procurement will shape supplier relationships, oversee risk management, and drive sustainability in sourcing.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a robust procurement strategy that aligns with organisation’s goals to achieve cost savings, enhance supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
    • Act as the focal point for procurement-related risk identification, assessment, and monitoring, integrating risk mitigation measures into all procurement activities.
    • Lead the transformation of procurement processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and encourage innovation.
    • Develop criteria and standards for vendor selection, monitoring, and evaluation to build a reliable supplier base
    • Identify and capitalise on emerging trends in procurement and supply chain to provide a competitive advantage for the organisation.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favourable terms, and establish performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Oversee procurement budgeting, tracking expenditure against budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimise financial performance.
    • Work closely with requisitioners and unit heads to understand procurement needs, provide guidance, and drive specifications for goods and services.
    • Implement measures for tracking procurement performance, identifying inefficiencies, and driving process improvements.
    • Ensure that procurement activities adhere to all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and sustainability practices, collaborating with the legal team to minimise liabilities and protect the organisation’s interests.
    • Drive sustainable procurement initiatives by selecting suppliers committed to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
    • Facilitate the preparation of tender documents and support technical evaluations, financial analyses, and recommendation summaries for approvals.
    • Provide regular procurement reports and updates, offering insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
    • Build and lead a high-performing procurement team through mentorship, training, and career development initiatives.
    • Set performance objectives, evaluate employee performance, and encourage a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Implement data analytics and procurement KPIs to support informed decision-making, monitor supplier performance, and identify areas for process improvement.
    • Utilise digital tools and technology to streamline procurement processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and encourage transparency.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
    • Relevant certifications e.g. Certified Purchasing Manager will be an added advantage

    Knowledge, Skills And Experience

    • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of driving cost savings, implementing process improvements, and managing complex supplier relationships.
    • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement regulations, and compliance standards.
    • Experience in coordinating high value complex multiple procurement programmes related to infrastructure projects will be an advantage
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance in an investment operations context
    • Demonstrated experience in managing investor relations, working with Senior Executives and Boards of Directors.
    • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
    • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
