    Issuing Operations Specialist

    Job Objectives

    • To support the Issuing Operations team in the preparation, processing, and monitoring of EMV data and card personalization activities, while ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery in line with agreed service levels.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in receiving card personalization jobs from banks via the helpdesk and acknowledge job receipt under supervision.
    • Support the preparation and organization of EMV data files required for card personalization.
    • Upload and drop personalization jobs for external personalization bureaus on secure FTP locations, following approved procedures.
    • Assist in generating EMV data preparation reports and customer service unit reports for banks.
    • Support daily job tracking and assist in compiling daily operational statistics for review by the supervisor.
    • Help generate required files such as UAM, text, and ODBC files for personalization under guidance.
    • Assist in recreating EMV personalization data (CIM and text files) when required.

    Head, Payment Terminal Service Aggregator (PTSA) Operations

    Job Objective

    • To provide strategic and operational leadership for the Payment Terminal Service Aggregator (PTSA) Operations Unit, ensuring the smooth running of POS terminal management, transaction processing, dispute resolution, settlements, and service delivery.
    • The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction in all payment terminal-related activities in line with CBN, NIBSS, and industry standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Strategic and Operational Leadership:

    • Oversee and coordinate all PTSA operations, including POS deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support.
    • Ensure the efficient processing and settlement of all POS and terminal-based transactions.
    • Supervise daily transaction monitoring, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt issue resolution.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve transaction success rates and service uptime.

    Transaction Settlement & Reconciliation:

    • Manage the end-to-end settlement cycle for all PTSA-related transactions (merchant settlement, acquirer reconciliation, and interbank transfers).
    • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of POS transactions across all payment channels and partners.
    • Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlement to merchants and stakeholders.
    • Liaise with Finance and IT teams to ensure accuracy of postings and reports.

    Dispute Resolution & Chargeback Management:

    • Oversee handling of failed, disputed, or reversed POS transactions in line with regulatory timelines.

    Vendor, Partner, and Terminal Management:

    • Manage relationships with terminal providers, acquirers, and service vendors.

    HOD, Domestic Switching & Terminals Operations

    Job Objective

    • To lead and oversee the domestic switching and terminal operations of the company, ensuring seamless processing, routing, settlement, and reconciliation of all card, POS, and e-payment transactions across the fintech’s platforms.
    • The role ensures system reliability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service delivery within the local switching and payment terminal ecosystem.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    (TBH) Operations:
    Switching Operations Management:

    • Oversee end-to-end domestic transaction switching, routing, and authorization across multiple channels (POS, Web, Mobile, ATM, QR).
    • Ensure real-time monitoring, uptime management, and performance optimization of the switching platform.
    • Coordinate with technology, infrastructure, and network partners to maintain robust transaction throughput and reduce latency.
