Job Summary

• This role is responsible for planning and guaranteeing independent and objective assurance on the management of risk throughout the organization.

Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:
Internal Audit:

• Plans and coordinate financial, regulatory, compliance and operational reviews.
• Conduct regular financial risk assessment and identify controls in place to mitigate identified risk.
• Performs audit procedures to test the reliability of established controls within the organization.
• Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring that corporate assets are safeguarded and accounted for at all times.
• Develop and communicate the value of the organizations anti-fraud program.

The Person

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related Business Degree.
• 3 to 5 years relevant work experience preferably in the Health or Service sector.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), ACCA is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
• Excellent customers service skills.
• Excellent, negotiation, communication, business presentation and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our organization's IT controls, systems, and processes.
• Assess and identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses in IT systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT audit activities with organizational goals and objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to enhance the IT audit program.
• Develop and maintain audit documentation, reports, and findings in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Provide guidance and support in the implementation of IT audit recommendations, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the status of audit recommendations to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years proven experience in IT auditing, risk management, or a related role
• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of industry best practices and standards in IT auditing.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
