    Infrastructure Support Officer

    Department: IT

    Industry: FMCG

    Responsibilities:

    • Deploying, maintaining, and repairing the computer and network infrastructure
    • Actively monitors and analyzes user requests, evaluates and applies solutions.
    • Troubleshoots any IT technical issues and resolves in a courteous, professional, and timely manner in person or via email, telephone and/or other electronic medium.
    • Completes setup and configuration of company laptops and desktops and troubleshooting of these devices as well.
    • Maintains accurate IT asset inventory and assist in acquisition, deployment, support, and retiring of IT assets based on established IT life cycle management.
    • Consults IT knowledgebase(s), Internet, other team members and any other appropriate resources for the purpose of independent troubleshooting.
    • Works with vendors on hardware warranty issues.
    • Provides limited after-hours support.
    • Administers computer networks and related computing environments including servers, routers, switches, storage arrays, virtual hosts / hypervisors, the Wide Area Network (WAN), and the Local Area Network (LAN).
    • Installs, patches, and upgrades hardware and software in accordance with the company’s life cycle management policy.
    • Monitors and maintains email applications, virus protection software, web filtering and monitoring appliances, and firewall profiles.
    • Implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
    • Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations.
    • Maintains user profiles ensuring password policies and other system policies are enforced.
    • Assists with new IT projects by investigating options and making recommendation as to what systems, hardware, and software changes are appropriate for the enterprise including and not limited to desktops, laptops, cellphones, printers, and area/department specific software.
    • Trains and enhances user knowledge regarding computer software and hardware

    Requirements;

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
    • 2-3 years’ experience as an IT Support Officer or IT Administrator preferably in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
    • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
    • Experience with computer and network infrastructure
    • Knowledge of telecommunications equipment, information systems, servers, networking protocols, and end-user computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
    • Applicable professional qualification
    • Ability to quickly identify hardware, software, and network issues, reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    IP Core Network Engineer

    Job Duties

    • Monitoring of IP Transit, NLD , Metro , Core links , troubleshooting with vendors, escalation and follow ups
    • To operate in an ISP core-network, includes multi-vendor equipment and services to serve LTE & enterprise customers.
    • To analyze / troubleshoot core network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency.
    • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.
    • Troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor for faster resolution.
    • Respond quickly to issues affecting the network environment to maintain high availability and uptime.
    • Provides analysis and root cause diagnosis for any network / customer related issue to the involve parties and to maintain SLA. Expert level troubleshooting for malfunctions of network hardware, links, routing, customer related issues to maintain operational availability of core network and customers. Expert level understanding of Cisco and Huawei switches and routers, Network Caching appliances, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, IP sub-netting, VLAN, VTP, VSI, VPN, VRF, VRRP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, WCCP. Understanding of Cisco and Huawei Router / switch hardware configuration, role of each minor item in the chassis, repair and replacement procedures, Transceivers and fiber cables.

    Requirements

    • Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / Networking / Telecom.
    • Experience: 3 - 5 years
    • Certification required: CCNP, CCSP, CCDA
    • Working knowledge on Cisco & Huawei network switches and routers.
    • Detailed technical knowledge of L2 & L3 routing, switching protocols.
    • Available to work in 24*7 shift time, on-call support.

    BSS TAC Engineer

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for optimum RAN uptime that traverses BSS operations, Transmission Operations, Customer Complaints and LTE TDD &FDD Deployment and Network Operations Center
    • Radio Frequency (RF) planning, dimensioning, implementation
    • Daily monitoring of all BSS related alarm in M2000 & drive with BSS engineer for clearance.
    • Ensures congestion free network and proper load balancing with adjacent cells
    • RF network optimization, resolved issues relating to weak coverage, cross coverage and lack of dominant cells I Configured/commissioned, and integrated 200+ base stations (eNodeB)
    • Periodic audits on configured RF parameters on the sites via M2000
    • Managing Field Support Engineers to resolve issues related to hardware fault

    Requirements

    • B.Eng / B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications with minimum of 3 years experience.
    • The candidate shall be proficient on Network interfacing 4G LTE Core and access network.
    • High level Radio Access Network (RAN) support, analyzing and resolving issues related to Uu, S1c & S1u.
