 Job Description

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Collaborate with other teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications ideas
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Convert wire frames into suitable code

Job Skills

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Educational Qualification and Experience

• B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Minimum of 1-3 year’s experience
• Proven working experience in android app development and have published at least one original android app

 Job Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Should have good knowledge of Java/Spring frame work
• Should have the ability to write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Code and test software based upon software specifications and design
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Must comply with project plans and industry standards
• Should be able to document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Should be able to develop existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate)
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Ability to quickly pick up new languages, technologies, and frameworks
• Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in designing interactive applications
