    Head, Payment Gateway and Collections

    Job Purpose

    • This role requires significant experience in the commercialization of web payment gateway and collections products and/or solutions.
    • As the Head of Payment Gateway and Collections, you will be responsible for delivering excellent web payment and collections products to our growing database of consumers, looking after existing relationships, and building new partnerships with enterprise merchants and organizations.
    • You will build rapport, gain buy-in, pitch, negotiate and win customers while ensuring that an excellent customer experience is continuously delivered.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Contribute to corporate strategy formulation and execution.
    • Oversee the implementation of Sales, Marketing and PR strategies for payment gateway and collection products and/or solutions leading to the realization of growth and revenue targets that will impact the company’s bottom line
    • Develop a well-structured market penetration approach for signing-up enterprise merchants
    • Cultivate and leverage long term relationships with enterprise merchants
    • Actively collect feedback from onboarded customers and collaborate with the relevant teams to improve marketing communication, value delivery, and overall customer experience
    • Prepare and present business performance reports to executive management and other stakeholders

    • Average transaction volume and value

    • Demonstrated experience in relationship and key account management with a sound understanding of sales and marketing principles, best practices, and common business development techniques.

    • Ability to lead and work across teams demonstrating high emotional intelligence

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in related courses with relevant certifications and training.
    • An MBA may be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in a sales management/ leadership role.

    Chief of Operations

    Job Purpose

    • This role shall oversee the operations directorate and requires excellent strategic thinking, operations leadership, project delivery, technical knowledge of the payment industry, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • You will be primarily responsible and accountable for driving operational excellence and overseeing customer retention initiatives that directly impact the company’s bottom line. As a strong advocate for better customer experience, you will address a wide range of issues or customer needs through ongoing engagement of internal stakeholders (business, product, and technology leaders) as well as customers, regulators, and partners.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee the Operations directorate including warehousing and logistics, provisioning and maintenance, field support, and overall customer experience ensuring that the company’s services are of the required standards and are delivered to our customers in a manner that consistently delights them.
    • Contribute to the corporate strategy formulation and execution.
    • Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.
    • Continuously evaluate operational performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting performance data and metrics for proactive business decisions.
    • Oversee relationship and key account management ensuring that our customers remain delighted and open to engaging the company on new opportunities.
    • Drive continuous monitoring, gap assessment, and improvement of the processes for service delivery.|
    • Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • A Master’s Degree.
    • Extensive and diversified Operations Management background (with at least 5 years of related experience in senior management or leadership role).
    • Experience in one or more of Merchant Acquiring, PTSP, PSSP or Switching businesses

    • Strong sense of ownership, focus and responsibility for results.
    • Clear evidence of achievement in a similar role and leadership of a reasonably large operations team.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in developing and executing operations strategies with project management capability.

    • Demonstrated experience in relationship and key account management.

    Corporate Brand and Event Manager

    Job Purpose

    • An enthusiastic, creative and highly organized brand and event manager responsible for planning and executing offline and online events from conception to completion. Implements company activations; delivers the creative and communication requirements of different departments; plans and executes internal communication campaigns; and contributes to brand strategy and implementation.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conceive, organize and implement all aspects of the company’s internal and external events (online and offline), including sponsored events, in accordance with the company’s goals.
    • Liaise with the different departments to understand their communication and creative needs with a view to supporting them to achieve their business objectives.
    • Responsible for activations, internal / office branding, video shoots, animations and jingle production.
    • Conceptualize and execute impactful Corporate Social Responsibility projects for maximum brand visibility and enhancement of positive perception of the company.
    • Manage, negotiate and coordinate suppliers and other logistics.
    • Lead promotional activities for all events.
    • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events.
    • Procure the most suitable corporate gifts and marketing collateral at the best quality at the lowest price.
    • Create brand strategies and promotional activities that build customer loyalty, brand recognition and customer satisfaction.
    • Member of the Editorial Board of the inhouse journal and responsible for the planning, coordination and production of Acceler8 Vlog.
    • Ideation, creation and copy writing of creative materials.
    • Any other assignment that may be given by the GM, Corporate Services & Administration.

    • B.Sc. in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
