    Head of Growth – Card

    About the job

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement growth strategies and initiatives for the card business segment, aligning with the companys overall objectives.
    • Customer Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire new cardholders through targeted marketing campaigns, partnerships, and innovative customer acquisition channels.
    • Product Development: Work closely with the product team to enhance existing card products and introduce new offerings to meet market demand.
    • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies, upselling, and cross-selling of card products and services.
    • Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth, optimize marketing campaigns, and enhance the customer experience.
    • Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to enhance airline services, amenities, and customer experiences.
    • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing growth team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the growth budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
    • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on growth metrics, market trends, and the performance of the card business segment for senior management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
    • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the payment card industry.
    • Strong understanding of card product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
    • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
    • Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

    Head, Internal Control and Compliance

    Risk Management

    • Oversee risk assessments and internal control reviews
    • Champion the implementation of mitigation strategies to identified risks and coordinate implementation firm wide
    • Supervise the follow up on identified issues relating to compliance to operational policies and procedures by organs of the organization such HR, Marketing Project etc.

    Internal Audit Administration

    • Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditors on audit assignments
    • Assess the adequacy and extent of programs designed to safeguard organization assets
    • Conduct and direct audits and ongoing reviews of organization controls, and operating procedures
    • Review the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls
    • Oversee the Internal control Assessments across the organs of the Organization
    • Direct and appraise the activities of the Internal control and compliance officer
    • Manage or conduct fraud investigations and review work papers completed by internal control officers
    • Oversee risk assessments and identify controls in place to mitigate identified risks
    • Coordinate staff to implement the set out internal control procedures
    • Identify internal control weaknesses and recommend necessary corrective actions, including the findings and recommendations of internal and external audits
    • Recommend internal control training requirements and providing requisite internal control training
    • Provide to employees a statement of policies and standards with which they are expected to comply.
    • Provide staff with clear directions and information relating to importance of adherence to internal procedures and the process

    Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as a liaison with external auditors
    • Engage with relevant regulatory agencies on internal control issues
    • Engage with Internal Auditors to discuss ways on improving internal control based on their findings
    • Provide External Auditors with information they need to make an opinion
    • Review report of Internal and External Auditors concerns on internal control and engage relevant authorities affected

    Compliance Management

    • Conduct and direct the review of organization controls, and compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Appraise the soundness and effectiveness of compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation generation.
    • Compile and issue reports detailing conclusions and provide recommendations for improvements regarding compliance
    • Champion the review of the organization’s existing policies and procedures to comply with required rules and regulations.
    • Collaborate with the department managers to develop clear and concise policies and procedures.Identify methods to ensure new policies and procedures as well as updates to existing policies and procedures are communicated, distributed and added to repository.
    • Provide direction and leadership to the team responsible for reviewing the departmental policies and procedures for gaps in adherence to relevant Tourism and Airline policies

    Requirements

    Travel Centre Agent

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Respond to all telephone inquiries regarding booking of travel reservations
    • Attends to walk-in customers
    • Identify products and sales opportunities that fit customers' travel needs
    • Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip
    • Assist with meeting sales quotas and service objectives by cross-selling suitable Wakanow products and services
    • Advise clients on suitable options for domestic or international destinations, tours, accommodation, transport, insurance and fares
    • Preparing customized itineraries to suit the clients’ preferences and budget
    • Create and update electronic records of clients
    • Make and confirm bookings online
    • Provide up to date advice on travel regulations including visa and medical requirements, baggage limits, safety and local customs
    • Modify existing bookings to suit change in clients’ circumstances
    • Research destinations and keep self-up to date with travel industry news
    • Escalate reoccurring issues and proposing solutions to solve these solutions

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in any field. years of relevant experience in Customer services.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Product Knowledge skill 
    • Passion for the airline industry and a desire to contribute to its growth.
    • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable
