    Head of Commercial / Sales

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Commercial Team is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing projects, andoverseeing the Design and Technical team to deliver exceptional client experiences.
    • This role requires aseasoned professional with a strong background in interior design, architecture, or a related field, and aproven track record of success in a similar role.

    Responsibilities
    Revenue Generation:

    • Rigorously drive sales targets for the project team, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.
    • Develop and maintain a database of new and prospective clients, regularly updating and following up through emails and calls.
    • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience and ensure retention.
    • Harness the project business environment for new exciting opportunities and projects.
    • Provide weekly activity reporting for Project business, including confirmed orders, quotations, status of job orders, priority, and calling lists.

    Project Management:

    • Obtain and articulate clients' briefs, assisting them in identifying the solutions they require.
    • Prepare all required documentation for project quotes, including bill of materials.
    • Schedule and attend site meetings to monitor progress of ongoing projects, acting as the point of contact for clients on all project communication during execution.
    • Ensure that production, delivery, and installation of clients' orders are executed as agreed and within stipulated timelines.
    • Provide timely and formal written communication throughout the project execution period, disseminating critical information to clients and project teams.
    • Maintain detailed project documentation, including key project decisions, client/project requests, and revisions.
    • Ensure before-and-after photos of projects are carried out, with professional photography upon completion.

    Design and Technical Team Management:

    • Oversee the Design and Technical team to meet clients' requirements and expectations.
    • Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with the installation supervisor, Interior

    Designers, and technical team.

    • Plan and supervise product delivery and installation, including performance of work, and obtain asigned completion certificate after a walkthrough using a detailed project checklist.

    Reporting:

    • Prepare reports, including sales figures, priority lists, pipeline orders, and other relevant reports to the department and for the business.

    Requirements

    • MSc in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role
    • Proven working experience with interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions)
    • Excellent FF&E knowledge and experience
    • Positive team spirit and great team player
    • Self-driven, proactive, autonomous, and reliable
    • Excellent communication skills in English language, both verbal and written
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented

    Interior Designer

    Key Summary of the Job

    • To coordinate and handle all aspects of project execution
    • To advise clients on interior design factors, analyze client’s order, prepare BOQ and Control Book.
    • To produce detailed working drawings and specifications for production.
    • To take accurate site dimensions and monitor installation progress
    • To prepare drawings and interior design scheme using computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software.

    Task Complexities

    • Obtaining brief from and advising clients on interior design solutions to cover space planning, layout, furniture selection, colour coordination etc.
    • Prepare drawings, schemes and specifications within the agreed timelines, ensuring that the designs are brand compliant
    • Responsibly working with design team, project managers, architects and consultants to prepare presentations and have design review meetings to obtain final approval
    • Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, project Manager to ensure job success.
    • Inspect ongoing installation works on site to ensure its adherence to the design plans.
    • Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval.
    • Design spaces to be environmentally friendly, using sustainable, recycled or off cut materials when feasible.
    • Research and explore the use of new materials, technologies and products to incorporate into designs.
    • End to end project management, to include site inspections ensuring that client requirement isachieved.
    • To ensure that all clients’ enquiries and queries are attended to promptly within 24 hours.

    Senior Retail Sales Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Sales Associate to join our retail team.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales (preferably in furniture or lifestyle/home categories), a passion for customer satisfaction, and proven leadership capabilities.
    • This role will oversee the performance of the sales team, ensuring that both in-store and online targets are consistently met, and act as the right hand to the Head of Retail in driving store performance and sales strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and guide the sales team, ensuring all members meet or exceed their individual and team targets. 
    • Lead by example by engaging clients, closing sales, and managing customer relationships.
    • Track and report sales performance, team activity, and store trends to the Head of Retail.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of IO Furniture’s product offerings to provide expert guidance to customers and staff.
    • Ensure that all product listings are correctly uploaded, described, and updated on the e- commerce platform, coordinating with internal teams to maintain accuracy.
    • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, providing quick, practical solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support and training to sales team members, fostering a culture of high performance and service excellence.
    • Assist in merchandising and showroom layout to optimize sales opportunities.
    • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to prepare reports, team schedules, and sales tracking.
    • Work closely with marketing and inventory teams to align promotions, stock availability, and customer engagement strategies.
    • Building new client lists and identifying retail opportunities.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior sales role.
    • Experience in a furniture or interior design company is highly desirable.
    • Proven ability to sell effectively and meet targets consistently.
    • Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product content management is an added advantage.
