    General Manager, Production

    Your responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of our products, managing plant operations, and maintaining the highest level of quality control. You will be responsible for ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures in terms of health and safety. Furthermore, you will oversee staff training and development programs to ensure their continued growth and success within the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the production of high-quality goods that meet customer requirements and specifications.
    • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.
    • Develop production plans in conjunction with other departments of the company.
    • Oversee plant operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
    • Train and mentor staff in efficient manufacturing and quality control procedures while maintaining performance metrics.
    • Manage budgetary and financial aspects of the production process.
    • Report issues and recurring problems to the appropriate stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
    • At least 25+ years of experience in production management.
    • Knowledge of production standards and practices.
    • Ability to interpret complex documents, including blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing plans.
    • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical, financial management, and budgeting skills.
    • Proficient in the use of production management software.
    • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.

    Human Resource Manager, Ibese Plant

    In this position, you will collaborate with functional heads within the Plant to enhance workforce planning, track and monitor manning levels, and keep attrition rates at a minimum. You will also be responsible for implementing career and performance management practices, providing guidance to the Plant's management on HR issues, and performing other HR-related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline
    • Professional qualification in HR Management, such as Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) or Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), is an added advantage

    Experience:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR work experience

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent knowledge of HR management processes, including organization development, manpower planning, and recruitment
    • Strong understanding of employee and industrial relations, as well as labor and employment legislations in Nigeria

    Manager, Electrical Engineering - Cement Plant

    Location: Obajana/Ibese/Gboko/Okpella.

    Job Summary

    Overseeing the maintenance of electrical equipment for optimum performance, raises indent for replacement of spare parts and provides maintenance support for shift operations.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning, coordination, and control of efficient maintenance execution of all Electrical Installations and activities.
    • Ensure completion of electrical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety, and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability.
    • Ensures smooth running of the unit and gives regular feedback.
    • Coordinate other section engineers and give support when required.
    • Manage and motivate his team, ensuring coordination and cooperation between the departments.
    • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices and contribute to their improvement.
    • Ensures/enforces maximum safety procedure in execution of all jobs.

    Requirements

    Desired Experience and Competencies:

    • BSc/HND (Electrical/Electronic Engineering)

    • Good knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes
    • Expert knowledge of maintenance management methods, predictive inspection tools, and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System),
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation,
    • Good knowledge of safety legislation and rules
    • Good knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM

    General Manager, Electrical Engineering - Cement Plant

    Description

As the General Manager, Electrical Engineering - Cement Plant, you will play a key role in overseeing electrical engineering functions at the cement plant and driving efficiency in operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategies for electrical engineering operations at the cement plant to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
    • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at the cement plant.
    • Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments such as production, maintenance, and safety to ensure seamless operations across the cement plant.
    • Develop and manage the budget for the electrical engineering department and ensure adherence to financial targets.

    • Experience in developing and executing electrical engineering strategies to achieve operational goals.
    • Sound knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
