    Fundraising Officer

    The Role

    • We are seeking a motivated and creative Fundraising Officer to join our team. You will play a vital role in securing funding from individuals, community groups, corporate partners, and grant-making bodies. Your work will help ensure the sustainability of our food bank and allow us to reach more people in need.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase income.
    • Manage relationships with individual donors, community groups, and corporate supporters.
    • Research and write compelling grant applications and funding proposals.
    • Organize and support fundraising campaigns and events.
    • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, ensuring targets are met.
    • Maintain accurate donor records and ensure excellent stewardship.

    About You

    • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or income generation (preferably in the non-profit sector).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Creative, proactive, and able to work independently.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Procurement Officer

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of food and supplies. This role will ensure cost-effective, ethical, and timely procurement to support our mission of feeding the community.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the food bank’s goals.
    • Source and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and donors for food and non-food items.
    • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with agreements.
    • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams.
    • Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational policies and donor requirements.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Minimum [2 years] experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics (nonprofit or food industry experience preferred).
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and inventory management.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
