The Frontend Developer will design, develop, and implement intuitive and high-performance user interfaces for web and mobile applications that power the company’s switching and payment systems.

Job Details

• Lead the design and user research efforts and communicate solutions to cross functional team
• Design and implement user interfaces for our Products and the services for both internal and external use.
•  Optimize web applications to maximize performance across mobile and desktop
•  Set technical product direction on front-end technologies
•  Identify and resolve issues of performance and scaling

Requirements

•   Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering course, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•  Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue.js).
•  Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Recoil, Vuex).
•  Experience with version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
•  Knowledge of frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm, or Yarn).
•  Understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data rendering.
•  Basic knowledge of secure payment application design and CBN/NIBSS integration environments is desirable.
•  Experience working with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries like Ant Design or Material UI.
•   Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience developing production-level frontend applications.
•  At least 2 years in a fintech, payment processing, or banking technology environment.
•  Proven experience building dashboards, portals, or administrative panels used in transaction-heavy or real-time data systems.
•  Experience collaborating within agile teams using tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
•  Experience integrating APIs from payment gateways, switches, or financial systems (e.g., ISO 8583, ISO 20022) is a strong advantage

• The Board Audit Committee, Executive Management, Risk Management, Compliance, and Finance Departments, Operations, IT, Human Resource, Process Owners and Departmental Heads

• External Auditors (for audit coordination and reliance on audit work)
• Regulatory Bodies (e.g., CBN, NDIC, NITDA, or Data Protection Commission)

External Consultants or Vendors (for specialized audits or risk assessments)

Requirements

Education Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• A Master’s Degree or MBA is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 8years in similar role in a financial institution, fintech or
