    Executive Assistant / Investment Manager

    Designation: Manager
    Department: Office of the C.E.O

    Job Responsibilities
    Executive Assistant:

    • Knows and keeps the C.E.O informed of all activities and appointments on daily basis
    • Prepare meeting packs for the MD and undertakes preparation of business materials (PowerPoint slides, Official Letters, etc.,) as needs arise
    • Conducts independent research and embark on ad-hoc tasks on behalf of the C.E.O
    • Ensure tasks from the C.E.O’s office are completed within agreed time frames
    • Ensure optimal coordination of all internal and external appointments/ stakeholders.
    • Preparation and presentation of periodic business performance and project management reports to the C.E.O
    • Work closely with the C.E.Oand C.O.O to deliver on growth and strategic plans.

    Property Development & Management:

    • Liaise with the property management team to ensure full occupancy of all properties under supervision
    • Follow-up with the property team and preparing monthly reports on revenue and costs showing profitability status on each property both in Nigeria and abroad.

    Strategic Business Unit:

    • Liaise with Carrier Insurance Brokers on monthly performance analysis and report same to C.E.O
    • Review weekly activities report of each staff and submit (if any) exception reports to the C.E.O

    Investment &Treasury Management:

    • Management of company liquidity
    • Establishing positive relationship with all individual investors associated with the company.
    • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the company’s banking service providers.
    • Ensuring that all financing needed is in place at attractive rates and terms.
    • Ability to meet current and future cash-flow obligations and collateral needs, both expected and unexpected.
    • Ability to manage the risk of losses resulting from movements in interest rates and their impact on future cash-flows.
    • Ability to manage the risk from movements in equity and/or credit on the balance sheet.
    • Ability to manage the risk of losses resulting from movements in exchanges rates in the case of FCY investments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of second-class upper grade in any Social Science, Business-related or Numerate discipline.
    • Chartered Accountant qualification
    • 3 – 5 years post NYSC work experience.
    • The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset, think like a C.E.O, be confident, an effective communicator, resilient, great with numbers and analysis.

    Job Description

    • Our client is currently looking for a Relationship Manager is a specialist tasked with the job of helping business grow and fulfill ambition to expand and diversify its business clientele.

    Responsibilities
    The Ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    • Developing and organizing goals, consistent with marketing objectives, with set deadlines for achievement.
    • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
    • Researching needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing and pitch your company’s products and services.

    Requirements

    • Candidate must have at least 3 years post-qualification work experience in a similar business organization .
    • Candidate must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
    • Candidate must have completed qualification in one or more of these: Accounting, Marketing, Banking.
    • Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills includes presentations.
    • Candidate must have goodinterpersonal skills and follow up skills

    Job Overview

    • The Job role is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising the internal auditing of management, operations, risk management, financial controls as well as compliance to company systems, regulatory, procedures and policies.

    Job Functions

    • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed in all units and departments of the organization
    • Conduct routine audit of activities in financial control or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues
    • Identify areas of financial an administrative strengths and weaknesses;
    • Evaluate operations and develop relevant cost saving and process improvements suggestions to assist management and organization goals.
    • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
    • Identify, develop, direct implementation and disseminate written policies and procedures to have a strong sustainable internal control structures and related activities to compliance.
    • File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies
    • Identify regularly exceptions in processes, policies and procedures of every unit, department and subsidiaries and give regular exception reports to executive management
    • Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes
    • Carrying out routine reviews, verifications and checks
    • Regularly verify that all firm and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented and communicated
    • Review of bank reconciliation and control accounts
    • Verification of account and loan processes
    • Effectively design and implement remedial strategy issues relating to payment default by customers

    Qualification, Skills and Experience Required

    • B.Sc Degree in Accounting or related field
    • Relevant post-graduation training / qualification (Certification; ACCA / ICAN - ACA)
    • Computer literacy with experience in MS Word, Spreadsheet and high proficiency in Excel is essential
    • Seven to ten years progressively responsible experience in internal audit, finance, accounting and internal control.
    • 5-7 years post-qualification work experience in audit, internal control, risk management and risk management as added advantage in a formal business setting and in supervisory capacity.
    • Preferred candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills including presentations.

    Core Competencies:

    • Experience of developing and managing Compliance Monitoring Programmes.
    • Articulate, effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally (lawyers, regulators,auditors) at all levels;
    • Proven commercial acumen
