Job Description

• We are looking to hire a "Junior Accountant". This is a role where you will report directly to the Internal Accounting Analyst. In this capacity you will be responsible for providing the financial results of the company.

Further Responsibilities

• Bookkeep, prepare and record journal entries.
• Track income and expenses, and be able to prepare detailed revenue and expense reports when necessary.
• Complete monthly bank and revenue account reconciliations.
• Interface with managers and executives concerning questions and issues.
• Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.
• Daily reconciliation of accounts.
• Assist with monthly end Reconciliation of accounts (Purchases, sales, inventory, expenses, transfers, payments, deposits).
• Work to continuously improve accounting/finance procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university
• 1 year+ of working for a consumer finance company, Microfinance Company or a bank.
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent written and face interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Commitment to achieving performance goals.
• Familiarity and experience using accounting technology programs.
• Familiarity with tax accounting for finance companies in Nigeria, highly required.
• Great at time management, multitasking and prioritizations skills.

Location:

• Branch office: Oyo Town/Ogbomosho. The role may require some domestic travel.

Salary
N30,000 - N50,000 / month.

• This is a role where you will report directly to the Finance Operations Manager. In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing the financial results of the company, all the internal reports, optimizing financial controls and assist with strategic Initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Managing the junior accountants on the daily financial operations. This includes bookkeeping, preparing and recording journal entries.
• Preparing and analyzing financial data and making informed decisions using this data.
• Track the income and expenses, and be able to supervise the preparation of detailed revenue and expense reports.
• Supervise the complete daily and monthly bank and revenue account reconciliations.
• Support external audit and accounting requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.
• Work to continuously improve accounting/finance procedures and internal controls.
• Designing and monitoring financial cash controls.
• Work directly with the finance manager on strategic initiatives that improve the financial position of the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, in Accounting, Finance, Business, Operations or Economics
• At least 2 years work experience.
• Preference will be given to masters’ degree holders
• ACA or international equivalent preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Familiarity with establishing financial controls, financial management, cash flow optimization and other optimization strategies

• We are looking to hire a “Software Tester”. This is a role where you will report directly to the Associate Manager of Software Engineering. In this capacity, you carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor user requirements, prepare design documents and validate user interface specifications
• Coordinate with the development team and prepare test processes to validate the life of various projects.
• Design specification for reports and provide modification as per requirement
• Analyze processes and identify test defects and recommend appropriate solutions for various issues
• Prepare low level and high-level designs and prepare documents for the same.
• Monitor applications and software systems
• Perform other responsibilities that shall be assigned by Lead

Qualification / Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science with a minimum of second-class upper (2.1)
• 2 years of work experience as a Software Tester or similar role
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
• Good knowledge of units and integration test
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle
• Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs
• Working knowledge of programming.
• Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc)
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Good time-management skills
• Adaptability, ability to work in a team environment.
