Job Summary
The Project Officer (Inclusive Education) will play a vital role in supporting the program framework to ensure access to inclusive and equitable education, particularly for children with disabilities. This position will work closely with men, women, boys, and girls in the community to actively identify barriers to access to education for children especially those with disabilities to address and mitigate protection risks associated with child education. The role also includes collaborating with the MEAL team to implement accountability mechanisms for beneficiaries and ensuring that the concerns of school-age children and those with disabilities are addressed.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Implementation and Support:
- Work closely with community members, schools, and local stakeholders to implement inclusive education activities that promote safe and accessible learning for all, with a focus on children with disabilities.

Project Summary
Role Summary:
The Senior Program Officer (Livelihoods) will lead the implementation of livelihood activities under the project in the Biu Field Office, Borno State. The role holder will also be responsible for the prevention of gender based violence and disability based violence (GBV/DBV). The officer will serve as the project focal point in the field officer and will support the project team in delivering income-generating and vocational education activities for marginalized groups, especially women and persons with disabilities. The role includes providing technical support, monitoring, and reporting on activities of other project components while ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics in dealing with beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight and Implementation
- Oversee field-level activities related to the establishment, training, and support of Village Economic and Social Associations (VESAs), ensuring their alignment with the project’s inclusive livelihoods and protection goals.
