    Mechanical Sales Engineer

    Summary

    • The Mechanical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling mechanical engineering products, solutions, and services to both new and existing clients.
    • The role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to understand customer needs, develop tailored engineering solutions, deliver compelling proposals, and achieve sales targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while achieving assigned sales targets.
    • Develop and present technical proposals, quotations, and customised engineering solutions to clients.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing guidance and after-sales technical support.
    • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and internal sales teams to ensure accurate solutions and timely delivery.
    • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
      3–5 years of proven experience in mechanical sales engineering.
    • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop proposals, close sales deals, and meet sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into customer-oriented solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
    • High level of professionalism, problem-solving ability, and commercial awareness.
    • Experience in the industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sector is an added advantage.

    Sales Operations Manager

    Summary

    • As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s sales processes within the manufacturing and construction sector.
    • You will support the sales team by streamlining operations, analyzing performance metrics, improving customer engagement strategies, and ensuring the execution of sales initiatives that drive revenue growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and manage efficient sales processes to support the achievement of business goals.
    • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate pricing, proposal preparation, and contract execution.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Support the recruitment, training, and development of the sales team to drive productivity and high performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales operations, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of construction/manufacturing sales cycles, project bidding, and contract management.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
    • Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    Salary
    NGN500,000 / month.
