    Sales/Marketing Director

    Job Summary:

    As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and market leadership. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote our energy and power solutions, expand market reach, and achieve revenue targets. Your exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and industry expertise will guide the sales and marketing teams towards success.

    Key Responsibilities: Sales:

    1. Develop Sales Strategy: Formulate a strategic sales plan aligned with the company's goals, market trends, and customer needs to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
    2. Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
    3. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
    4. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for growth, and lead efforts to secure new contracts and partnerships.
    5. Sales Forecasting and Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to forecast sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    6. Sales Collateral and Tools: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, tools, and resources to support the sales process.

    Marketing:

    1. Develop Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's vision and sales objectives.
    2. Brand Management: Lead efforts to enhance and maintain the company's brand image and reputation in the energy and power industry.
    3. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends. Utilize data to refine marketing strategies and make informed decisions.
    4. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and content marketing to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
    5. Product Marketing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product marketing plans that effectively communicate the value of our energy and power solutions.
    6. Marketing Budget Management: Responsible for managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maximizing ROI on marketing investments.
    7. Public Relations and Communications: Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to enhance the company's public image and manage media relations.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience (10 years) in sales and marketing leadership roles within the energy and power industry or a related sector.
    • Strong understanding of the energy and power market dynamics, including regulatory and technological considerations.
    • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating successful sales and marketing teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data to inform strategic decisions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Thorough understanding of digital marketing platforms and emerging marketing trends in the energy sector.
    • A track record of successful brand campaigns and effective marketing initiatives.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Our Client in the Energy & Power Industry is seeking to engage an experienced General Manager (Operations) who will act in the capacity of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) our recently completed Mobile Application for trading LPG and gas appliances online. It is a one stop online market place for users/buyers of LPG, traders/sellers of LPG, door-door delivery agents ( with motor bikes, vehicles, tricycles, etc) and gas technicians making  It’s features include gas bulk and retail vendors (LPG filling plants and retailers), Gas delivery agents, and qualified  gas technicians; all using the App as a one stop tool. The App Launch is due in about 1 month, and therefore need a competent COO to lead the business from start.The ideal candidate should have a proven track-record of converting existing assets into revenue through the implementation of strategic and innovative business solutions. Candidates with background in sales and business development within the Energy & Power sector who can impact on the long-term growth and profitability of the business are encouraged to apply.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
    • Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.
    • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the COO, CEO and other key executive team members.
    • Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
    • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

    • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company.
    • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
    • Works with other c-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
    • Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.
    • Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.
    • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.
    • Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as GM (Operations), COO, Head of Business, Operations Manager (or other allied C-Level Executive role) within the Nigerian Energy & Power sector.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or allied discipline.
    • An MBA or Advanced Degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Management, and Leadership is desired.
    • Industry-specific project management experience.
    • Proven track record in driving revenue through successful implementation of innovative technological solutions in previous roles.
