    Billing Analyst

    Job Description

    • This job holder provides operational support and control to other Billing Operations Units and Management Information System (MIS) reporting to internal and external stakeholders in achieving business objectives.

    Job Requirements

    • A good Bachelor's Degree (in Business disciplines or any related field).
    • A master’s degree in a Business-related field is required.
    • Membership of a professional body in the Management or Marketing field is required.
    • At least 6 years post qualification experience of which at least 3 years must have been in billing or prepayment operations in utility company.

    Job Responsibility

    • Build and develop customized reports to support analytical needs of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develops new or update existing reports for business enhancement   
    • Generates periodic and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Review of generated report for correctness before rendition
    • Provides operational support for request for archived database reports:
    • Ensures revenue assurance by confirming debt factored, direct payment, and account adjustment against source documents.
    • Ensures data integrity by checking for the correctness of input data on CMS.
    • Provides general operational support for users of CMS.
    • Reviews and call-over daily activities of operators on CMS and escalate exceptions appropriately.  
    • Confirms delivery of Bill Summary via SMS and e-Bills via email to customers.
    • Performs other Ad-hoc assignments as defined by Lead, MIS/ Operations Support.

    Procurement Officer

    Job Description

    • This job role supports the business through the procurement of best quality equipment, goods and services for the organization at the most competitive price to save cost while optimizing value.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any field.
    • A master’s degree in any related discipline will be an added advantage.
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies.
    • Possession of relevant certifications is an added advantage.
    • At least 2 years’ experience.

     
    Job Responsibility

    • Interface with Supervisor to plan and prioritise procurement functions and activities.
    • Receive and collate approved requisitions from user divisions, departments and functions.
    • Receive proposals, expression of interest and quotations from vendors and service providers and assist in negotiating terms of sales with vendors to minimise costs for IBEDC.
    • Prepare requests for bids, process technical specifications from user divisions, departments and functions.
    • Prepare contract documents.
    • Monitors and review vendors’ and suppliers’ performance against contractual terms and obligations.
    • Track orders and expedite project completion to conform to delivery schedules.
    • Review job completion certificates and invoices for services rendered by vendors.
    • Report all procurement functions and activities to the Supervisor/Lead Procurement.
    • Performs any other duty as requested by the Supervisor/Lead Procurement.

    Materials Management Officer

    Job Description

    • This job role implements the effective inventory management framework that meets current and future business needs in respect of materials planning, scheduling, warehousing and timely closure of requisitions.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
    • 3 years’ work experience
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies.
    • A postgraduate professional certificate in relevant field. (Added advantage).
       

    Job Responsibility

    • Safeguards Business Hub warehouse operations and materials by complying with established security procedures and protocols.
    • Receipt of all supplies made to IBEDC.
    • Inspection of goods delivered to specification in conjunction with the certification team where applicable.
    • Release of materials to user departments and stations as approved by the management with audit endorsement of all requisitions.
    • Management of stock-out and lead time for timely stock replenishment.
    • ERP Sage posting and transactions in respect of all materials issues, materials received, intersite transfer and generation of stock reports as required.  
    • To participate in the mid-year and annual stock taking exercise to ascertain the actual physical stock and carry out reconciliation where deemed necessary.
    • Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports to management and relevant stakeholders.  
    • Performs other sundry assignments as stipulated by Regional Store Officer and B/Hub manager.
