    Brand Communications and PR Manager

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Coordinating all public relations activities 
    • Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics 
    • Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media 
    • Develop a public relations strategy, complete with goals and budget 
    • Craft and pitch brand stories, across a range of platforms, to promote company presence and improve engagement 
    • Create, edit and update promotional material such as brochures, flyers etc. 
    • Develop talking points for management and employees, as required 
    • Build and maintain relationships with a wide array of media personnel 
    • Seek opportunities for sponsorship and advertising 
    • Assist with crisis communication as required 
    • Prepare a periodic report with recommendations and trends for management.

    Job Requirements/Skills 

    • BSc / BA in Marketing, Communications or a related field is desired 
    • 3- 5 year’s work experience. 
    • Proven experience as a Communications Manager, Public relations Manager or similar role 
    • Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies 
    • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Photoshop, 
    • InDesign) and content management systems is a plus 
    • Solid editing and researching skills 
    • Excellent communication abilities (oral and written) 
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • Organizational skills.

    • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department

    • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager 
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases 
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data 
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, 
    • standards, laws and regulations 
    • High attention to detail and accuracy 
    • Ability to direct and supervise 
    • Strong basic math skills. 
    • An ICAN or ACCA certificate is an added advantage.
