Job Summary

The inventory support officer will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the management of inventory and ensuring accurate record and tracking of stock levels.

Main Responsibilities

• Daily stock count before attending to any request and report variances if any.
• Send daily reports of operational activities to inventory officer via mail with designated formats
• Attend to all stock requisition as quickly as possible
• Issue spare parts to service center on request
• Consistent arrangement of stocks in the warehouse for easy tracking and identification.
• Daily wrapping PV modules with maximum care
• Attend to Auditors on stock count weekly or periodically
• Receive incoming consignments along with inventory officer at any designated warehouse.
• Update bin cards with other ledger books if inventory officer is not available.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Submitting daily and weekly report to Team Lead Inventory.

Who we are looking for:

• A minimum of OND in any discipline is required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in store/warehouse management will be an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a professional and objective perspective at all times

Job Summary

The Internal control officer is to review all internal processes, systems and policies and make recommendations to ensure the risk to the business is minimised with a view to delivering improvements across units and departments.

Main Responsibilities

• To plan, organize and carry out the internal control functions including the preparation of an internal audit manual and internal audit plan.
• Conduct risk assessment of all departments.
• Report risk management issues and internal control deficiencies identified directly to management and provide recommendations for improving the organisation’s operations.
• Evaluate compliance with existing GENNEX policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications needed.
• Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and engage in continuous education and staff development with best practices.
• Review the responses to internal and external audit management queries to ensure that recommendations are implemented and all action items are resolved
• Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
• Evaluate regulatory compliance program
• Evaluate the organisation’s readiness in case of business interruption
• Ensure accuracy in inventory processes and procedures
• Ensure daily, weekly, and quarterly review of GENNEX warehouse and stores
• Ensure periodic spot checks on GENNEX warehouse and stores
• Ensure all units and departments reports are submitted accordingly.

Who we are looking for:

• You must be a graduate of the Accountancy, Social Sciences, Business administration or related fields
• A post-graduate degree is an additional advantage
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in internal control
• Experience in writing internal policies and procedures and process evaluation and documentation.
• A demonstrated knowledge of internal controls
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a professional and objective perspective at all times
