    General Manager

    Our client is urgently in need of a Gneneral Manager.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    • Strategic planning
    • Lead the development and execution of the organization’s strategy and goals
    • Develop and continuously refine the company’s business and growth plan
    • Lead and oversee the allocation of resources to achieve the organization’s goals and vision
    • Oversee the marketing plan of the company and its implementation

    Culture development

    • Develop, monitor and promote the organization’s mission with associated core values, philosophy, and culture
    • Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the organization’s standards and policies

    Human capital

    • Oversee the hiring and performance of staff
    • Ensure the necessary human resources management systems and processes are in place
    • Monitor and ensure organizational effectiveness of the Company

    Operations

    • Responsible for developing the operational plans to achieve the Company’s goals.
    • Ensure cost control and operational efficiency
    • Set key performance indicators, monitor and report them as required 

    Finance

    • Oversee the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting, and audit
    • Ensure that expenditures of the organization are within the authorized annual budget of the organization
    • Assess the principal risks of the organization and ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed
    • Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place
    • Ensure efficient financial reporting

    Other relevant responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain business contacts required to achieve the Company’s goals
    • Identify and address problems and opportunities of the organization
    • Act as direct liaison between the board of directors and the management of the organization
    • Communicate on behalf of the organization to shareholders, employees, government authorities, and other stakeholders and the public
    • Ensure that the organization maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility wherever it does business
    • Sit on committees of the board where appropriate as determined by the board

    Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

    Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum of a first degree from a noteworthy University is a must.
    • A graduate level degree in business administration, technology or finance is an added advantage
    • Information technology background or experience is an advantage
    • At least 10 years in operational role of which at least 5 years in senior management role

    Software Developer

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    •  Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
    •  Produce clean, efficient code based on client specifications
    •  Integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications
    •  Verify and deploy programs and systems
    •  Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
    •  Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
    •  Conduct system testing and validation procedures
    •  Conduct software programming and documentation development
    •  Work closely with analysts, designers and other staffs
    •  Document requirements and specifications
    •  Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
    •  Deploy computer programs and evaluate user feedback
    •  Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes
    •  Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language
    •  Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
    •  Use web-based tools to create advanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) when applicable
    •  Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging
    •  Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
    •  Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support

    Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

    Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum of a University degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
    • Good knowledge of coding languages such as C# and ASP.NET
    • Good knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
    • Relevant experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
    • Extensive experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
    • Completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)

    • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
