    Incubation Programmes Officer

    Job Summary:

    • We seek a resourceful, dedicated, and highly organized Incubation Programs Officer who is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and driving positive change in the Nigerian entrepreneurship landscape.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of enterprise development incubation programs and projects in line with the FATE School’s strategic direction.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Assist in coordinating and monitoring the delivery of incubation programs, including entrepreneurial training, business development support, mentoring, and masterclasses.
    • Assist with designing and developing the incubation program curriculum and training modules.
    • Ensure effective communication between key program partners, FATE volunteers, and entrepreneurs while fostering a positive relationship to support program objectives.
    • Update and maintain a comprehensive database of the incubation program participants as required.
    • Proactively identify areas for improvement to enhance program effectiveness and liaise with the Head, StartUps & Youth Enterprise to ensure successful program implementation.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to manage digital media communication for the incubation program's website and social media platforms.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • 2 years relevant work experience in program coordination or any related role.
    • Keen interest in and understanding of the entrepreneurial sector.
    • Strong project/programme management skills.
    • Well-organized, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task effectively.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with program participants and other stakeholders and to also work with team members effectively.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
    • Business and investment acumen.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite effectively.
    • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management science or any social science related discipline from an accredited university.
    • Strong interest and passion for the non-profit or development sector.

    Coordinator, Owner-Manager Programs

    Job Summary: We seek a dynamic, innovative, analytical-minded, and results driven Coordinator for Owner-Manager Programmes who is enthusiastic about supporting and fostering the sustainability of manager-led businesses in Nigeria.

    The ideal candidate will coordinate and ensure the effective implementation and delivery of FATE owner-manager programs in alignment with the FATE School's strategic direction and focus areas.

    The FATE School: The FATE School was created to harness the strong entrepreneurial culture of Nigerians by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with business incubation, growth, and accelerator support required to fully explore entrepreneurs’ innovative potential to start, grow, and scale their businesses.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme, as well as track the owner-managers application of knowledge to their business and develop short to mid-term strategic growth plans for a competitive and sustainable business.
    • Coordinate all program workplans and activities with relevant internal stakeholders and provide support to program facilitators, faculty members, and industry experts to improve the quality, scope, and delivery of the owner-manager programs, which include the Emerging Entrepreneurs Program (EEP) and the NGX programs.
    • Liaise with the Marketing and Communications department to ensure timely and appropriate publication of the NGX and EEP programs.
    • Develop and implement action plans for standardized program management, processes and tools required to facilitate the programs, assessment tools to capture and analyse program data, inform decision-making, and evaluate the progress and impact of the programs.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • A minimum of 3-4 years of work experience engaging directors of their own companies as well as senior executives who are major equity stakeholders in medium-sized companies.
    • A good understanding of the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on the quality of program delivery.
    • Ability to present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
    • Ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion.
    • Ability to build trust and productive relationships.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • A positive, energetic, and ambitious work attitude.
    • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Administration or a related discipline from an accredited university.
    • A professional certification in project management professional (PMP) or related discipline will be an added advantage.
    • Strong interest and passion for the entrepreneurship and business development sector.
