    Internal Control Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems across the organization.
    • Review operational and financial processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and process inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Conduct routine control reviews and compliance checks across departments.
    • Monitor claims operations, financial transactions, and business activities to detect irregularities or potential fraud.
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
    • Prepare detailed internal control reports and present findings with recommendations to management.
    • Support management in strengthening governance, accountability, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Follow up on implementation of corrective actions and ensure closure of identified gaps.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or related qualification) is an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of internal control systems, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
    • Experience: 3–5 years’ relevant experience in Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance (HMO, Healthcare, or Insurance experience is an added advantage).
    • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, operational procedures, and excellent analytical/investigative skills.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and strong reporting/interpersonal communication.
    • Ability to identify process gaps and implement effective control measures.

    Head, Commercial Service

    Responsibilities 

    • Develops and executes comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth and strengthen market presence across all HMO products.
    • Provides strategic leadership and direction to all SBUs within the Commercial Group to ensure alignment and peak performance.
    • Leads corporate, retail, and government client acquisition efforts while implementing strong retention strategies for sustained business growth.
    • Identifies and develops new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand the organization\'s footprint in the HMO sector.
    • Oversees pricing, product improvement, and policy review processes to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market needs and regulations.
    • Optimizes sales operations and internal processes to enhance efficiency, reporting quality, and overall sales performance.
    • Represents the organization in high-level negotiations and stakeholder engagements to secure strategic partnerships and business alliances.
    • Establishes and monitors KPIs, tracks performance metrics, and prepares executive-level reports with insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Ensures all commercial and sales activities comply with NHIA regulations and maintain the organization\'s brand integrity and ethical standards.

    Requirement

    • Degree in Science or Arts.
    • Professional certification in Insurance, Marketing, or Sales is mandatory.
    • Minimum of 10 – 15 years of consecutive sales experience within the HMO industry.
    • MBA: Mandatory, and must have been achieved over 5 years ago.
    • Must be a strong and visionary leader with the capacity to oversee all Strategic Business Units (SBUs) within the Commercial group.
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Must possess the capacity and strategic know-how to drive the Commercial sector of the HMO, and turn around and deliver agreed commercial group budgets.

    Specialist, Settlement and Reconciliation

    Responsibilities

    • Transaction Matching: Verify that incoming and outgoing transaction records from back-office systems match subsidiary ledgers.
    • Dispute Resolution: Investigate discrepancies (\"breaks\") and resolve electronic transfer and payment issues with banks and partners.
    • Account Balancing: Forecast and balance daily movements on bank accounts using advanced spreadsheets.
    • Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end closes while preparing management reports.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 to 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a banking-related role.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERPs, and accounting software.
    • High mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
