    Freight Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Source and secure new business across freight, courier, warehousing, and project logistics.
    • Lead client acquisition, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
    • Represent company at industry events, trade forums, and client meetings.
    • Collaborate with operations for seamless service delivery.
    • Submit weekly activity reports to senior management.
    • Drive growth in line with company sales goals and defined KPIs.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
    • Minimum 7 years experience in B2B logistics, freight, or courier sales.
    • Proven track record in high-value deal conversion.
    • Deep understanding of port operations, customs clearance, and the delivery chain.
    • Must have existing leads or ability to generate business within weeks.
    • Structured, fast-thinking, and self-driven.
    • Fluent in English — written and verbal — with strong presentation skill.

    Salary
    N300,000 - N1,200,000 / Month.

    Field Sales Executive

    • The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and enhancing brand visibility across assigned territories.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Identify new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
    • Ensure product availability in retail outlets, supermarkets, or distributor warehouses.
    • Expand customer base by onboarding new distributors, retailers, or other clients.
    • Open new sales territories and penetrate underserved markets.
    • Conduct regular store visits to identify new opportunities
    • Execute promotional activities, such as product sampling or discounts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing stores and key accounts.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
    • Provide after-sales support like sales optimization
    • Ensure proper placement and display of products in stores are done by in-store merchandisers.
    • Participate in promotional campaigns and in-store branding/activations.
    • Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the team.
    • Monitor promotions and recommend strategies needed for business growth.
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, sales target breakdown and market feedback.
    • Analyse sales performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
    • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment in stores.
    • Manage a designated sales territory, ensuring effective coverage.
    • Plan daily/weekly routes to maximize time and efforts.
    • Optimize the use of resources to cover territory effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, invoices, and client communications.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 3 - 6 years of proven experience as a Sales Executive with at least 2 years of solid experience in the FMCG industry.
    • Solid understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management.
    • Understanding of Modern Trade process and dealing.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
